Check Out Nila N3ptune’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nila N3ptune.

Hi Nila, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began working right away at age 15 1/2 (I had the job lined up), as I thought that money automatically equaled freedom. The plan was to work, to make money, then to be free ~ in that order. It took 20 years of me working in the corporate world to realize…”step one and two are recycling…this ain’t it”.
While working, I did several side gigs, side projects, and MLM situations looking for the ever – elusive freedom. I had a spiritual encounter in 2023 that transformed my life. After transforming what my definition of freedom was ~ I left a job that I was with for 17 years with the inspiration to volunteer at a nonprofit organization that I believed in. It wasn’t until a year and a half into volunteering and ultimately co-running their HR desk, hosting their Zoom parties but still not feeling freedom that I walked away from that organization as well. I had this spiritual itch that I desperately needed scratched. After walking away, I started a Substack. I am a writer. I write music & poetry. I craft delicious word salads on Substack and I am a transformational astrologer at heart. The bread and butter of my business is based on transformative one-on-one consultations. I promote my consultations on Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube as well. I realized that freedom comes from doing what you love everyday. Money can’t buy it. I am a entrepreneur, who does what she loves every day and I am free. I believe to my core ~ that doing what you love consistently and passionately will bring success, which is just the cherry on top of freedom.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth? Absolutely not. The resistance that I received from family and friends alone was a massive hurdle within itself. I wanted to share my journey, passions and beliefs but was constantly being questioned about my choices ~ which were at the time so out of character for me. It’s one thing to say that you believe in yourself. But you actually have to back that claim up in times where ends are not meeting where you thought they’d meet and you are blundering through something for the first time.
Entrepreneurs in their infancy have to withstand the “I told you so’s” and the “Are you still sure about your choices?” The biggest struggle is the imposter syndrome that you place upon yourself when you ask “Am I good enough?”the answer is I am.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Great question! Number one on the list is singing and songwriting…it’s my jam. Up until now ~ music has been placed on the back burner but it has always been a running theme in my life, from singing in the church choir, to being in multiple bands, to songwriting for artists. I’ve always sang, I’ve always performed and being on stage feels natural for me.
I also write. I’m looking to publish a autobiography that I wrote based on my daily diary entry’s as a teenager. My story puts the show Euphoria to shame. I am shopping for a publisher.
I’m also currently writing music with a hip hop artist/astrologer (dream collaboration for me tbh).
I post three times a week on Substack, Tiktok, Instagram and YouTube promoting my one-on-one consultations and giving weekly astrology tactics for the dense energy that we have in the world right now. I have used astrology to help me navigate the complexities. As an empath, I feel things so deeply and astrology helps me choreograph a dance with the energies as to use them effectively and to not let them use me. I’m very passionate about it and astrology has helped me in more ways than I can ever accurately articulate. What sets me apart from others is that I feel like I have lived 10 lifetimes already. Those lifetimes translate into art in the most beautiful and fascinating ways that shocks even me. Those lifetimes have allowed me to transmute and overcome such dark emotions and dark situations. I have a unique point of view because of these emotions that is both hilariously entertaining and equally soul-wrenching. What mostly sets me apart is that I’m authentically myself which makes me unique within itself.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
How long do you have haha? I’m actually unsure how to answer this question…. It may be a surprise of how much I rely on my connection with the Divine to navigate my life and decisions. And that spirituality is the backbone of everything that I do. It may be a surprise of how seriously I take freedom of choice, my value and sovereignty. It may be a surprise of some of the dark spaces and situations that I’ve been in because I sparkle now… It may be a surprise of how dark it got for me to obtain that sparkle. And it may be surprise that not only does darkness no longer scare me ~ I fully understand how to dismantle and transmute it. Cool question.
