Today we’d like to introduce you to Jamelia S.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I moved to Atlanta for a job opportunity with a healthcare company after college. Atlanta is a great city to create and have a successful business in if you put in the hard work and dedication into it. I started off selling hair it wasn’t for me. Then I started selling shoes and handbags, then I added clothes into the equation and have been at it ever since.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it’s not a smooth road at all. When you’re passionate about something you put your all into it. I started off actually selling my clothing on Facebook marketplace, boutique groups, etc. Then I moved to attending Pop-Ups which are always great for networking even if you don’t make any money. You can gain so much knowledge on business from other individuals.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I have a women’s boutique. I specialize in styling individuals and making them feel good about themselves. I’m not just selling you an outfit or shoes; I’m providing you with a great experience. What sets me apart from others I’m going to always be honest with all of my customers that come in purchasing an outfit. I want y’all to join the Ari’Jai & Co. Bae nation and I am always providing great customer service and providing great styling services.

How do you think about luck?
I don’t believe in luck; I believe in trusting the process and keeping my faith in God.
