Today we’d like to introduce you to Az.

Hi Az, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I grew up around the entertainment industry, so I gained interest at a very early age. I have always been intrigued by the music industry, so I would always be listening in and learning as much as possible. But I actually started pursuing music in my teens, and it has definitely been an interesting journey.

As I look at where I am today everything I’ve been through makes so much sense and has aided in the artist and person I am today. I have been so blessed to have many AMAZING opportunities like: appearing on various tv shows, traveling with the Pepsi Funk Fest Tour, cameoing in music videos, hosting my own radio show, collaborating with other artists and creative directing/releasing my own content just to name a few. And I am DEFINITELY JUST getting started.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
So far, my journey has not been smooth. Being an independent artist comes with its own set of struggles. But, I can not complain because all of my struggles have taught me A LOT about myself, others and business.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am an Entertainer in all aspects. I love to sing, dance, perform, model, act, and all in all be a creative. I would definitely say I am most known for being a singer. I actually just released a single last year called Desire ft. Luh Dino—available on all platforms. I am set apart from others by my uniqueness/style, I have studied so many artists and entertainers over the years that have influenced and inspired me. I have combined those personal inspirations with my personal style to create something that is truly distinctive and unique to me.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
I undoubtedly have to give much credit and thanks to my family. They have supported me throughout my entire journey being my biggest cheerleaders and my biggest teachers.
