Hi Lekeia, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always been all things beauty! In my early 20’s, I became a face model for a professional makeup artist in my hometown and since then I’ve been passionate about makeup artistry in general. Throughout the years, I’ve learned different techniques and would only do makeup on myself. But about 3 years ago, my friends gave me the extra push I needed to began to take clients. I’ve been doing makeup and servicing clients ever since!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. With the over saturation of makeup artists in the industry, especially Atlanta, I struggled in the beginning to gain clientele. Also, I would look at some of the makeup artists that inspire me and try to compare myself. Thinking like that, I would sometimes second guess myself and if the makeup industry is really for me. But to overcome my own personal obstacles, I found my own niche within makeup artistry and brought to life Lekeia Bianca Makeup Artistry!

I’m Lekeia Bianca, CEO and founder of Lekeia Bianca Makeup Artistry! I’m a certified professional makeup artist who specializes in soft glam. In my few years in the beauty industry, I’m most proud of my growth as an artist and in just a few short years being able to service celebrities such as rap artist ReeMarkable and actress Mercy Eke. What sets me apart from other makeup artist is my artistry and being able to maintain a special bond with each of my clients!
