Daily Inspiration: Meet Aulaura Lawrence

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aulaura Lawrence.

Hi Aulaura, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started sharing my life on social media about five years ago, simply as a way to connect and document my everyday moments. As a mom of four, a lot of my content naturally centered around motherhood and lifestyle, just navigating real life, raising kids, and finding joy in the little things.
Over time, as I grew and my life evolved, so did my content. I realized how much I genuinely love discovering and supporting local food spots, especially being in a new area, and I wanted to share that more intentionally. What started as occasional food posts quickly became something I was really passionate about.
Now, I focus on highlighting local restaurants and hidden gems, while still bringing my audience along for my real life behind the scenes. It’s been a natural shift that reflects who I am today, and I love being able to support small businesses while creating content that feels authentic to me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Balancing social media while being a full-time working mom of four and a wife comes with its challenges. Finding the time to create, film, edit, and stay consistent can be overwhelming, especially when my family will always come first.
I also manage everything on my own, from content creation to outreach and communication, which can be a lot at times. There are moments where it feels like I’m being pulled in multiple directions, trying to show up fully at home, at work, and online.
But those challenges have also pushed me to grow, become more intentional with my time, and really focus on creating content that matters to me. It may not always be easy, but it’s something I’m truly passionate about, and that makes it worth it.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Professionally, I’ve been a recruiter for the past 10 years and currently work in home health care, where I focus on connecting the right people to roles that truly make an impact in patients’ lives. It’s work I take seriously because it directly affects the quality of care families receive, and I’m proud to be part of that process.
Outside of my career, I create content centered around highlighting local restaurants and small businesses. I love bringing visibility to hidden gems and helping my audience discover new places, while also supporting the local community in a real way.
I also serve as a praise leader at my church, A1:8 Church, which is a big part of who I am. Leading worship has shaped my confidence and authenticity, and it carries over into everything I do.
What I’m most proud of is being able to balance all of these roles while staying true to myself. What sets me apart is that everything I share comes from a genuine place. Whether it’s my work, my faith, or the businesses I highlight, I’m intentional about building trust and showing up in a way that feels real and relatable. I would not be who I am today without God my family and most of all my husband pushing me and supporting me to be my true authentic self and to never give up on my dreams.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
Brands and local businesses can work with me through content creation, restaurant features, and promotional campaigns across my social media platforms. I love partnering with businesses that align with my values, especially local restaurants and small businesses looking to grow their visibility in an authentic way. I offer in-person visits, reviews, and engaging video content that connects with my audience.
For collaborations, the best way to reach me is through direct message on my social platforms or via email ([email protected]) for more formal inquiries. I’m always open to building long-term partnerships that feel genuine and beneficial on both sides.
For those who want to support me, simply engaging with my content goes a long way. Liking, commenting, sharing, and visiting the businesses I highlight truly makes an impact, not just for me, but for the local community as a whole.
