Today we’d like to introduce you to Evey Chavez.
Hi evey, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into wellness started from a very personal place. A few years ago, I was a divorced mom of two teenagers, struggling deeply with depression, exhaustion, and feeling disconnected from myself. At my heaviest, I was nearly 300 pounds, and I realized that if I wanted my life to change, I had to make a decision to finally choose myself. What started as a weight loss journey slowly became something much bigger — a complete transformation of my mind, body, and spirit.
As I began healing, I became deeply drawn to holistic wellness and natural healing practices. I immersed myself in learning about the body, emotional stress, lymphatic health, nervous system regulation, and the connection between physical and emotional wellness. That path eventually evolved into the wellness services I now offer today. I specialize in lymphatic massage, cavitation, touch therapy, sound bowl experiences, and holistic wellness support. I also incorporate natural wellness tools like sea moss and other supportive practices that helped me personally reconnect with my health and confidence.
At 42, being a lesbian woman, a mother, and an entrepreneur has shaped how I approach my work. I understand what it feels like to rebuild yourself after heartbreak, stress, burnout, identity shifts, and life transitions. My goal is never just aesthetics — it’s helping people feel safe in their bodies again. I want clients to leave feeling lighter emotionally, mentally, and physically.
What makes this work meaningful to me is that it came from lived experience. I didn’t discover wellness from the outside looking in I found it because I desperately needed healing myself. Now I get to create spaces where other people can slow down, breathe, release stress, and reconnect with themselves in a world that rarely gives us permission to do so.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not a smooth road. It actually included several restarts. Lots of rec calculations… my most recent one leaving a clinic I had managed for a few years to step out in the name of mental health and faith.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What I’m most proud of is that this business was built from my own personal transformation. I was once nearly 300 pounds, battling depression, navigating divorce, and trying to rediscover myself while raising two children. My healing journey started with one decision: to prioritize my wellness. That choice completely changed my life and eventually led me into holistic health and helping others do the same.
What sets me apart is that my work is deeply personal and intentionally nurturing. I don’t approach wellness from a surface-level beauty perspective alone — I focus on the nervous system, emotional release, confidence, and helping people reconnect with their bodies in a compassionate way. Clients often tell me they feel emotionally lighter after sessions, not just physically different. Sculpted Sista Society is about softness, healing, confidence, femininity, and community. It’s wellness with real-life experience behind it, not just aesthetics.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memories always included being outside and dirt gardening or at the ranch with my grandfather. I’ve always been a bit of a garden gnome.
