Daily Inspiration: Meet Rhea Amarè

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhea Amarè.

Hi Rhea, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I am a Travel Influencer, Travel Dental Hygienist, and Entrepreneur. My love for travel started when I was a little girl taking domestic trips with my mom. As I got older, around 20 years old I took a trip to Puerto Rico and fell in love. That travel experience made me want to leave my footprints all over the world.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ll be honest: traveling isn’t always the smoothest. I always make sure to do my research on a country before I visit so there are no surprises. I had one horror story so far. On my first solo trip my passport was accidentally thrown out by the cleaning crew at a hotel I was staying. The process to get back home was dreadful, but I made it!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist, for those who do not know what a Hygienist is I provide professional teeth cleanings, educate patients on oral health maintenance and disease prevention, treat gum disease and the list goes on. Most Hygienists work in 1 or 2 offices with set hours. However, as a Travel Dental Hygienist I work at different offices throughout the states that I have my license in. I make my own schedule so it works perfect when I do want to travel domestic or internationally. Additionally, I started my business, “Rhe-Imagine Smiles”. Self-guided teeth whitening mobile service. Teeth whitening kits are also available at an affordable price.

The crisis has affected us all in different ways. How has it affected you and any important lessons or epiphanies you can share with us?
During Covid 19 I was in Hygiene school, it taught me more about the importance of oral health.
