Today we’d like to introduce you to Ambria Gore.

Hi Ambria, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hey, I am super grateful for the opportunity, so thank you!

I started my brand in June 2020, there was a lot of uncertainty with jobs because of covid. Thankfully, I never lost my job but I knew that it was finally time to start my own business. So, I planned for just about a year and in May of 2021 I finally launched “BE YOURSELF ENT, LLC”. It was my first collection of shirts. The journey has been amazing ever since. I definitely got to where I am today by God and the support from family, friends and everyone who has supported the brand.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Creating a brand has its bumpy roads. The biggest struggles I’ve faced today I would say is trying to please everyone and struggling between which design you should drop when you should drop and just wondering what will sell / not sell. but I’ve learned that everyone isn’t going to like every shirt or item you might drop and that’s okay.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I want people to know that BE YOURSELF ENT, the brand is all about promoting INDIVIDUALITY, and being who makes YOU HAPPY and to just BE YOU. The world is already tough as is, you shouldn’t have to worry about if someone is going to make fun of you because you may dress differently. So I want my brand to symbolize that’s it okay to be exactly who you are.The logo behind the brand is a character that shows different characteristics of a person.He was created to show that it’s okay to BE YOURSELF whether you have an afro,wear glasses, earring in or tattoos, whatever the case may be.
I am most proud of the fact that I have had people actually tell me “hey, this is a perfect fit for me or my child.” “it describes me so well” etc, which is the reason I created BE YOURSELF so for that alone I will always be proud and very grateful of the brand I created.

Any big plans?
I just dropped my newest collection, July 1st so make sure you guys go check that out. Right now I’m just focused on building my brand, making a bigger impact. In the future I do want to collaborate with other brands and feature on major platforms.
