Today we’d like to introduce you to Ivey Sholar.
Hi ivey, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve loved social media. I used to pretend I was recording YouTube videos all the time. Growing up, I was super involved in sports—wrestling and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for years—which sparked my passion for UFC. In high school, I started a TikTok account that really kicked off my journey. I shared dance videos at school and continued pursuing my dream of acting.
I didn’t realize how much impact my channel could have until I started talking about sports. For years, I kept my content focused on other things, but once I started sharing my thoughts on sports, I couldn’t stop. My first big breakthrough was covering a GHSA wrestling tournament — those videos blew up overnight. For the first time, I felt like I was really making a difference, and it was so inspiring to see little kids get excited.
After that, I traveled to RAF, my first pro wrestling event, and covered RAF 06 and 07 — memories I’ll never forget. I had the chance to interview some of the biggest names in UFC and wrestling, and I even met people I’ve looked up to since I was a kid. From that point on, I worked tirelessly to chase my passion. I attended my first UFC fight in Miami, Florida, and I’ve never loved a sporting event more. Then, I attended UFC 250: Freedom, where I witnessed history—the first sports event held at the White House.
Balancing my passions hasn’t been easy, especially as a full-time student at the University of Georgia, working toward a broadcasting degree while staying active on social media. I’m always looking for new ways to grow and improve. I honestly couldn’t have done any of this without the help of the Lord—He’s guided me every step of the way and opened doors I never could have imagined. I’m also incredibly thankful for my parents. They’ve been so supportive throughout my journey, and I want to give a special shoutout to my mom—she’s been the best camera woman!
I’m truly grateful for all the opportunities I’ve been blessed with. My goal is to use my story to inspire others—especially young women—to believe in themselves and never give up. I want to be a positive role model and show that with confidence, hard work, and faith, anything is possible. I believe in chasing your dreams and never accepting “no” as the answer. Today, I’m just a kid from Georgia chasing my dreams with everything I’ve got, determined leave my mark.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’ve definitely experienced more failures than successes, but what I’ve learned is that failure isn’t about falling down—it’s about what you learn from it and how you bounce back. Throughout my journey on social media, I’ve faced many hardships—companies ghosting me, being told no, and moments of humiliation. But those setbacks haven’t impacted me the most. The biggest battles I’ve faced were actually personal ones from when I was younger. Speaking at my great-grandmother’s funeral, one of my biggest role models, at such a young age was extremely emotional and difficult. Competing in high-level wrestling every day and getting beat up wasn’t easy either, but I kept showing up, and when the time came to win, I did.
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to trust in God—believing that He is doing everything in my life for a reason. I just need to follow His guidance and trust His process. Patience has been key, not only waiting for my moment but also continuing to work hard while I wait. I’ve also learned the art of simply showing up, no matter what room I’m in, and making the most of every opportunity.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I’ve always been an introvert, which might be surprising since I’m an only child. Despite that, I’ve loved being a daredevil and taking risks. As I’ve grown up, I’ve realized that I’m often the friend who’s willing to get hurt for the sake of trying new things. I’ve always enjoyed big stages, public speaking, connecting with people, and traveling the world. I love learning new things and gaining different perspectives.
Growing up, I was active in sports—wrestling, BJJ, volleyball, and softball—and I’ve always been passionate about staying active. I’m a super loving person, and I have a big soft spot for animals; my house is like a dog farm with four dogs. I enjoy creating new things and seeing people enjoy what I make, as well as learning from those experiences.
Some of my favorite hobbies include fishing, wake surfing, acting, sports, and working out—typical Georgia stuff. I have a personality big enough to fill a room; I love talking and often find myself over-talking because I enjoy engaging others and sharing my thoughts.
