Inspiring Conversations with JaMeyah “Lowkeey” Moore

Today we’d like to introduce you to JaMeyah “Lowkeey” Moore.

Hi JaMeyah “Lowkeey”, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I just relocated from Dallas-Ft Worth, originally from Corsicana, TX. Started with promoting parties before I decided to get into the music industry. Now having multiple businesses. My durag brand, Keey Ragz. Lowkeey Management, managing music artists. Flowkeey TV Series, which will be launching Live May 1st on Varisty BPM TV Network. The transition out here to Atlanta is definitely different, the culture itself speaks volumes.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I always say there’s a book on everything except how to live this life. A smooth road would be an understatement. It’s been hard as hell, but that’s okay. My biggest struggle was taking accountability for my actions. Removing myself away from distractions and crossing off non-realistic goals. Living in my reality is the biggest key.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Currently managing three artists and one producer. My brand, KeeyRagz offers a luxury style of durags, loc socks, and bonnets. Started taking my modeling career more serious towards the end of 2020, tapping into more of my feminine side, embracing my natural beauty. My Flowkeey TV Series is one of my biggest accomplishments, my business partner shocked me actually with the offer to be a Producer for Varsity BPM TV Network. Tons in store, stay tuned.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Biggest focus would be our youth. Specially with the music that gets dished out. The biggest shift will be the spirit journey I’m about to take.
