Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Bullock.
Jessica, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
🌸 She.Empressive Founder Story – Jessica Bullock 🌸
I wasn’t born into luxury or opportunity. I was born into a world where love felt conditional, and where survival meant learning to be strong—sometimes too strong. I became a mother at 16, determined to give my children a life I never had. Along the way, I faced hardship, heartbreak, and the deep ache of feeling unseen.
But that pain planted a seed in me. I realized that my story—my struggle, my survival, and my eventual sovereignty—could be the blueprint for something bigger. Something that would not only transform my life but create space for other women to rise, to glow, and to own their power.
She.Empressive was born from that seed. It’s more than beauty services—it’s a declaration that beauty isn’t just skin deep. It’s about embracing your story, reclaiming your worth, and stepping into your power as a woman, as a creator, as a empress.
Today, I’m not just building a business. I’m building a legacy for my children and a beacon for women who need permission to shine. From starting as a young mother with nothing but determination, to becoming a visionary leader blending beauty, legacy, and empowerment—I’m proof that no matter where you start, you can rise.
At She.Empressive, we don’t just do beauty. We build empires. One woman at a time.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No, it hasn’t been easy at all. Becoming a businesswoman—especially one building something as meaningful as She.Empressive—meant having to put myself out there and be seen, which was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.
Before I could even begin to operate as the woman I was being called to be, I had to do a lot of internal work. I had to confront my fears, my insecurities, and the deep wounds I was carrying from my past. I had to unlearn the belief that I had to be everything for everyone and learn to simply be myself—a woman worthy of her own dreams and success.
It took much longer than I thought, because healing isn’t linear. It felt like I was in a cocoon, struggling to break free of old patterns and pain. But through that struggle, I transformed—just like a butterfly finally breaking free and blossoming into something beautiful.
So, I’d say my biggest challenge was honestly with myself—learning to trust my vision, believe in my worth, and step into the woman God was calling me to become.

What I’m most proud of is that She.Empressive represents my story, my healing, and my vision for generational wealth and legacy. It’s not just a business—it’s the blueprint for a dynasty where women can break free from limitations, embrace their true selves, and step into their power.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that using my own money to fund everything was not sustainable. I thought I had to do it all on my own—to prove myself, to make it work—but that approach taught me quickly that business is not just about hustle; it’s about strategy.
I learned that understanding business funding is absolutely necessary—whether it’s through loans, grants, or creative financing options. It’s not a sign of weakness to seek funding; it’s a sign of wisdom and sustainability. And taking the steps—no matter how intimidating—to get that funding is key to scaling and securing your business’s future.
This realization has shifted how I operate and how I mentor others. I want women to know that it’s okay to ask for help, to secure the bag, and to use the resources available to build something lasting.
