Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Murrain.

Brianna, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After graduating Aveda Atlanta Institute, I trained and worked at a high end in Buckhead Atlanta for 3 years. In 2015, I decided to open my own business providing mobile hair and makeup services for weddings, birthdays, and special occasions called Beauty In a Breeze. Since 2015, Beauty In A Breeze has grown tremendously and is now, a booking agency providing the best hair and makeup artist in Atlanta.

Has it been a smooth road?
For me, the road has been smooth starting my own business and loving what I do has been a big motivation to do my best.

My advice to younger women is to stay consistent. Anything is possible if you put your time and stay consistent.

Beauty In a breeze provide mobile professional hair and makeup services for weddings, birthdays, and special occasions. We are known for being mobile, convenient, quick, and providing great service and customer service. I am proud of the great consistent service we continue to give. It makes us happy to make others happy. With our work, we are able to do that consistently.

There’s a wealth of academic research that suggests that lack of mentors and networking opportunities for women has materially affected the number of women in leadership roles. Smart organizations and industry leaders are working to change this, but in the meantime, do you have any advice for finding a mentor and building a network?
My advice for finding a mentor would be to go to networking functions and seminars. Meet new people and if you find someone that inspires you, connect with them. I found my mentor through my work, and God has connected me towards to right people by networking. Always surround yourself with people with the same motives.
