Life & Work with Amber Nicole of Athens, Ga

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amber Nicole.

Hi Amber, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Ever since I was a teenager in high school, I always loved creating. Whether it was painting, expressing myself with arts and crafts, or making silly Vine videos with my friends. Fast forward to when I was 23 years old, something happened that would change my outlook on life. I experienced a stroke (cerebral thrombosis), which was nearly fatal. Being that I was blessed to recover and continue living my youthful life, it pushed me to thrive in my passions and do what makes me happy. Shortly after, I built an online store that I ran and fully operated myself for a year and a half. I made apparel that promoted positivity and women empowerment. I love inspiring others through my content and creative side simply by being myself. I have a passion for wellness, fashion, and beauty. Now at 27 years old, I am happily living in Athens, Ga and looking forward to the rest of my journey.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
stroke at age 23 (details in previous answer) , which led into some severe mental health struggles due to the life changes and circumstances it caused.

(By the way, I know my story may not be long or have a lot of details and events, but the main point for mine is : perseverance through life’s low places.)

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Apart from regular work, I am most known for my social platform and content creation. I enjoy sharing content on beauty, wellness, fashion, and my daily life. I connect with many other people who have a passion for the same things. (Lifestyle creator)

How do you define success?
I define success as something that is not always about material gain. Success can be any amount of progress you make, whether it’s finding your light again after being in a dark place, reaching a goal, or simply growing into the best version of you.
