Meet Adam Melvin of Enlightened Collective in Little 5 Points

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Melvin.

Adam believes becoming spiritually awaken is the greatest progress one can attain while living on Earth.  He defines spiritual awakening as the process of becoming aligned with the truest and highest vibration of yourself in area of your life.

He attributes his own spiritual awakening as the reason for his Psychic gifts as well as his passion to serve others in their spiritual awakening process which according to Adam is an ongoing process.

So, before we jump into specific questions about what you do, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My own spiritual awakening process has been a journey that has me to experiences many shifts and different understandings. I have experienced myself as being as a Protestant Evangelical seeking to win souls for The Kingdom of Light to healing souls through being a Fortune Teller in the city of lights, Las Vegas.

My passion is creating spaces that facilitates spiritual awakening and growth in others. I have experienced working as a “Spiritual Growth Facilitator” since I was 21 years old when I started leading bible studies in College working with Christian organizations The Impact Movement Inc. and Campus Crusade for Christ International (Cru Inc).

In 2004 I begin to expand my faith beyond the confines of traditional Christianity and discovered the work of Edgar Cayce which lead me to the realization and understanding that there may be only one path to God but there are many different ways to experience that path.

From 2004 till 2012 Ientered into a time of deep study and research of whatever religious and mystical tradition he could read up on. Through my study and exploration I became familiar with understanding the secrets of the Universe in Terms of Energy, Frequency, and Vibration.  I immersed himself in the Law of Attraction teachings and any material that sought to expound on the Frequency of the “Christ Consciousness.”

In 2012, I experienced another huge shift in my spiritual journey when I came in contact with psychic mediums Jonathan Harris and Sabiana Dubios. Before meeting these two talented personalities I wasn’t aware of my own intuitive psychic abilities but through studying and receiving training from them I was able to learn how tap into my own psychic gifts in powerful ways.

In 2013 I started working as a Fortune Teller Reader at the Underground Mall in Atlanta with the talented and gifted Tarot Reader Terhas Kiflu of Whispers of the Oracle LLC. Since 2013 I have given over 5,000 Psychic Readings, working as reader in both New Orleans and Las Vegas.

Also during this time I created a Meetup Group in Atlanta for spiritual seekers, called “Raise Your Vibration Atlanta”.

In 2016 a core group of members from my Raise Your Vibration Meetup Group came together to form the Enlightened Collective Inc, a federal recognized tax-exempt non-profit that seeks to promote personal and spiritual enlightenment as well as provide leadership training and fiscal support for other individuals would desire to offer their unique personality as a “Facilitators of Enlightenment”.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As I look back, I can see many foolish mistakes I made and where I could have applied more balance and wisdom. I see that with a little more discretion and tact I could have prevented many interpersonal misunderstandings and saved a few burned bridges. This is something I’m still learning to have balance in. Also it has been a real struggle figuring out how to attend to my economic necessities while seeking to make myself available for the support of others while maintain my freedom for study and the time requirement I have for mediation and worship. I have experienced evictions, homelessness, and amassed great depth in this journey in which many of these losses could have been prevented with more sagacity. Its due to these personal struggles I have experienced that have been one of the major motivating factors that I felt driven and inspired to create the Enlightened Collective Inc.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Enlightened Collective – what should we know?
The Enlightened Collective Inc is a network comprised of individuals and organizations that are dedicated to the moral, ethical, and spiritual evolution of mankind.

Our community includes individuals from all walks of life and our collective supports a wide range of initiatives and projects that give people abundant opportunities to use their gifts and talents in meaningful ways.

The Enlightened Collective’s mission is to sponsor and promote programs and initiatives that we feel will effectively facilitate spiritual, moral and ethical enlightenment. Participants of some of our programs say they experience awareness and insight that impacts every area of their life positively and helps create within them a clearer knowingness and vision for their own personal success.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Yes I definitely do, and my answer is courage. Having the courage to face, feel and get through whatever comes what may and on any given day is the greatest characteristic and quality that one can have.  Possessing courage is having true wealth. And courage is born of faith, and faith comes through enlightenment, which is why prioritizing one’s journey of enlightenment is the most important thing one can do. . . As Jesus taught his disciples “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all other things will be added unto you as well”
