Au’vril, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
ANA Glamour Bundles was just a dream during my junior year in high school. The main purpose was to inspire other girls to embrace their beauty through hair, lashes, and other beauty products. My parents did not want me to work while in school, basically just go get your education and they’d cover the rest. Opening my business, made me realize a 9-5 would not have been productive as my business has. While running the company, I’ve met so many people that have helped me on this road to success. Today, we ship globally and also do drop-offs in the area, today the business has been better than ever each day we improve and network more.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has definitely not been easy, and there were some days I was ready to just give up. Keep in mind I was only 17 when my company began, so I was new to the scene and just felt like things were going to pop right off. Reality check sis, it didn’t! Honestly, the struggles weren’t even real struggles. I thought the business would automatically pop to people and they’d want to come and shop with me and support. That all went the opposite way, people didn’t want to support, it didn’t just pop off, so yes business was slow for a good while and it discouraged me. All I wanted to know was “what am I not doing” wanting answers to fall out the sky, but they didn’t. Finally a networking event came up and it helped me understand the actual business and how to brand to people and make them want to buy, and honestly, that was the best thing that ever could’ve happened.

ANA Glamour Bundles – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
ANA Glamour Bundles, is a beauty supplier, specializing in raw hair extensions, minks, holographic lipgloss, and edge control. We are known for the “Boss Baby”, basically our owner, Au’vril N. Adams is a small business owner, but also a young owner. The drive that she has is so great for her especially at her age, and once she gets older, her company will be bigger than expected. As a company, we’re proud of making others smile and assisting them on looking beautiful whether they throw up their hair in a natural bun and slick their edges down with the “Glam Control” we offer or if they just throw on a pair of our most popular minks, “Finesse”. That’s what we’re proud of making other women and teenage girls feel comfortable in their own skin and in their own way. ANA Glamour Bundles is set apart from others by providing extraordinary customer service, unlike other companies, we give you our phone number, email, and website to help guide you on your needs. Whenever you log on the website, we some time pop in to make sure you are greatly assisted and can find whatever you need. What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment is hosting my one-year anniversary pop-up shop & vision board party. It was the most extraordinary moment in my life, I was able to sell all my vendor tables and vision board slots. In case you don’t know what a pop-up shop is, it’s an event where business owners sell their products and may purchase from other vendors also, it’s a great networking event to get your business out to the public! The vision board party, a party that you get to lay your vision out and see what you actually want in the future! If you can see your dreams in front of you, it motivates you to go and do it and put your mind to it. There are so many goals I have for myself and the business so that’s the main reason I wanted to host the vision board party. My first solo event was the proudest moment in my career, and thank you to all the vendors, customers, family, and friends that pulled this event together!
