Today we’d like to introduce you to Brianna Bryant.
Brianna, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Honestly, this all started for me in middle school. It sounds cliche, but this was the stepping stone in realizing what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I was first introduced to graphic design and photography all together when I joined the yearbook staff with my teacher named Mrs. Haynes. Mrs. Haynes, if you do happen to read this one day, thank you.
This incredible woman introduced Photoshop, InDesign and Digital Media to me. In this class is where I fell in love with all things Graphic Design and Digital Photography related. Every step, since that moment and leading up to now, I’ve incorporated these items into the classes I chose for school and into my career. I knew whatever I did, it had to be related to graphic design, photography and/or both.
I studied Graphic Design in college with a minor in Public Relations. In the fall of 2018, the University of Montevallo is where I graduated from. It’s there where I met another important woman in my life that I knew was the key to helping me grow further. Her name is Min Sun Lee. If you ever meet someone in your life that’s going to give you what you need to hear versus what you want to hear, be grateful for it because I surely am. Min has taught me on numerous occasions how to grow as a businesswoman, a designer, and a woman. Not always can you say college properly prepared you for the real world, but in this case, I can say thank you God for Min! If it were not for her, I would not have grown into the businesswoman I am today. Junior/Senior year in college is where I actually started my business officially and began to pursue it more seriously.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I always see the things you grow through in life as a lesson. Yeah, there’s been numerous times where I’ve doubted things due to stress… but do I regret it? No. Everything that I’ve been through has made me into the person I am today. Right now, balancing working full-time as a Digital Marketing Specialist and freelancing on the side has it’s ups and downs, but it’s always worth it because I’m doing what I love.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Because of those who helped me to be where I am now, I feel as if they are a part of my story. One person I did not mention was my father and family. When others would not invest in my company, he was there to help. Whether it was the cost of a lens or the cost of software, he has always continuously provided financial support/help to me on countless occasions. It was too my father who also got me into the photography side of things.
Growing up, my father had a DSLR camera that I used to play with and grow my skills with. It has helped me to define my skills and expand my knowledge before venturing out to purchase my own full-frame camera. I am grateful everyday for having him and other family members who have sown seeds into my business. Because of them, again I would not be where I am now.
