Meet Caleb Hicks of CH Music Productions in East Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Caleb Hicks.

CH Music Productions was founded by Caleb Hicks in May of 2018. As a self-titled “full meal musician,” he spent 12 years doing everything himself from writing, recording, and producing his own music to promoting himself and finding ways to network without the assistance of a label. Through all of this hard work, he developed a passion for helping other independent artists achieve their goals – a passion that led him to conceive a business that would exist to help music makers get the job done without breaking their bank. CH Music Productions serves as a professional, yet affordable alternative to big-name labels or production companies that tend to place more importance in your net worth than in the quality of your art.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have certainly been challenges. Finding ways to collaborate with other creatives while practicing social distancing has been an interesting struggle to deal with. However, I’ve found that remote collaboration can be just as productive as in-person collaboration as long as everyone is fired up and ready to work!

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I specialize in freelance music production services that are professional and affordable. I can write a song for you, make a beat for you, mix/master your song, provide session work, clean up arrangements, and serve as a gigging musician for bands or artists who need fill-in players. I have been working as an independent music producer and musician for over 12 years now, so it’s safe to say that I know how it all works. I can assure you that I will make you comfortable and provide you with a product that you’ll be proud to share with the world.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Getting to work with artists on the other side of the world and getting my songs picked up for publishing.
