Meet Cameron Garnigan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cameron Garnigan.

Hi Cameron, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have a lot of different story beginnings honestly in regards to my clothing design/brand, Videography, and music! They all started around the same time (2015). Back then, music was seriously just a hobby. I only did it for fun with no real intentions of releasing I just loved the process. It wasn’t until mid-2021 that I decided I wanted to drop and become a consistent artist. Music started because one of my homeboys started producing beats and he needed people to rap on them so I was the first! Now, this is where my main focus is I feel like it was definitely time to switch up the vibe of what I had going on, and now I dropped my first debut album ‘Just How I Feel’.

Clothing started around 2015-early 2016. I used to be obsessed with the culture and different clothing brands. When I turned 16, I got my first job at a grocery store so I was spending all those little checks on clothes every time finding the newest brands and coolest trends. It wasn’t until a little later I took on a four years graphic designing course and realized I can design for and create my own brand which later lead to me working for myself amongst other things. My first stab at the clothing scene, I made a brand called ‘Sauce’ because I’m ‘sauceboycam’ but I realized it was very unoriginal and stunted the great potential I knew I had. So 2017, I created my brand ‘Clout Club Global’.

Lastly videography came from me wanting to be a photographer when I was 14-15 years old, so I got a camera for Christmas. I’d brought my camera to my best friend Bryan Sanons house and he had already been doing Atlanta street dancing, he asked if the camera could shoot videos (and I did) and since that day, the rest was history. I’d started filming consistently for him and JByrd (Jorven) the 3rd to our trio, from 2015-Now, and we really did some remarkable things. They got picked up and casted for multiple artist’s music videos and linked up with some of the cities greatest and greatest street dancers like Meechie, Toosie, Ayo, Teo, etc.!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Struggles with time, fake love and fake people, struggles of being new to something without having guidance, plus most of these things were started in my early teenage years so a lot of age restrictions and age obstacles. Of course, there is always struggles when you are trailblazing and becoming a young boss.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m known for a lot of different things. I specialize most in graphic designing and my clothing brand, music and videography. I’m most proud of my clothing because it’s what really gave me a good push and taught me a lot of business tips and knowledge. In a more general sense, I’m proud of myself for doing something that no one in my family has done, testing the boundaries of life and executing things. What sets me apart is my work ethic. I’m always trying to find more and more to do because I know there is always more to be done on top of that, I always make sure I deliver things completely different from the normal! Real art.

What does success mean to you?
Success for me is waking up doing what you love everyday regardless of what it is you’re doing. If you aren’t worried about your bills or responsibilities because you know they’re handled, then you are successful.
