Meet Chamayne Reid of The Mayne Chic in SouthWest Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chamayne Reid.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Chamayne. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I have always been very creative and an artist at heart. I started The Mayne Chic in 2012, while I attended photography school. I started my business as a photographer only. I then began to discover graphic arts and that’s when I decided to merge the two and started offering graphic design services as well. Now my business is offering services like t-shirt printing, custom party décor and more!

Has it been a smooth road?
No, it has not been a smooth road. I graduated from high school in 2008, not knowing what I wanted to do as a career. I went to several colleges, I started to get discouraged, but I knew I had one thing and that was my artistic abilities. So that’s when I decided to take a leap of faith and go to photography school. After photography school, I decided to go to Southern New Hampshire University and get my BA in Graphic Design in Media Studied. I graduated in 2017.

We’d love to hear more about your business.

We are most known for our vibrant, bold, and clean designs. Our designs are eye-catching and unique. Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is a great place to be a photographer/graphic designer. There are plenty of events, entrepreneurs and plenty of work! Atlanta has many businesses that need design work and the possibilities are endless.
