Today we’d like to introduce you to Christine Martinello.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It all began in the early 1990’s, while I was living as an expat in London, England with my husband. At the time the biggest question I had was, “How can I balance my life as a Mom and make a meaningful contribution to society? So, I decided to start my 1st company with 2 other women and we provided leadership and communications training. After 4 years, I moved back to America and have always looked to ‘Find a need and fill it’.

I started my 2nd company, Training Solutions Int’l and it has been a wild ride. What an adventure to develop programs and products that help people to live with more love, joy and better work-life balance.

In 2004, I published my 1st book, ‘The Momager (mom & manager) Guide; Empowering Moms to Leave a Loving Legacy. This book redefines Moms as Momagers and gives them the tools to lead with love – for their family, their work and themself. Women love this book and it’s a trusted resource for many women. I had such fun It was traveling around America and guide Mom’s to create a fulfilling work and family life.

Then, in 2010, I co-authored, ‘Atlanta’s Real Women’, 14 Women’s Stories of hope, courage, resiliency and strength. This book touched many women’s lives and showed them the way to successful living.

After some life altering events in 2014, I decided to focus all my work on love – to educating others about love and spreading love with the ‘Original Love Box’ kit and ‘Christmas Love Box’ tradition gifts. The tradition is simple yet makes an everlasting impact. Tens of thousands of people have done the ‘Original Love Box’ tradition in their family. From the time the product launched, people started to use the Original Love Box in their own way. It’s used every time a group wants to spread love – from birth to celebration of life and for every special event in between. It has been an honor to know people grow closer together in love with the Love Boxes, books, love notes and education events.

We have a team of ‘Love Agents’ who write love notes and do loving acts in a few states across America.

Covid has changed everything and I’ve pivoted my business due to Covid. Since I can’t do live education events anymore or have in person ‘Love Agent meetings’ and write love notes face-to-face, we’ve pivoted into a virtual and digital platforms.

Here are 3 ways we’ve changed our business model & are shifting.

1. I created an online ‘Love School’ with the ‘Create a Life You Love with Balance’ course. This is the 1st online course and we have many more to come.

2. The ‘Love Agents’ and I created new digital love notes. The first one was for health heroes to thank them. And we renovated a hospital’s break room to be an ‘Oasis of Love’ with an 8-foot tall love note & a ‘Wall of Love’ with love notes from the community hanging on a wall for them to read or blank ones for them to give to patients, collages, or family. There are Original Love Box stations, so the health heroes can do the tradition.

The 2nd digital love note was for moms for Mother’s Day. The 3rd love note we’re working on is the digital ‘Unity love note’ to bring people together and unify people of all races. I spoke at a protest about how we can ‘Speak the truth in love’ and handed out 400 love notes to promote love. The protest stayed peaceful.

3. I created a new online ‘Love agent Mastermind group’. We’re a group of people across the country who are committed to spreading love in our local communities and in our country.

The possibilities to love are endless and we’re 100% committed to spreading love in creative, innovative and meaningful ways. My original vision of having a loving family and making a meaningful contribution to society has come true. In bigger, better and broader ways than I could have ever imagined.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being a woman entrepreneur for 26 years has NOT been a smooth ride. It has been a wild adventure. Struggles have arisen as markets changed, interests changed, my family and I changed and now the world has changed.

The biggest struggle has been with balancing and managing my life and work.

We’ve spread love and given Original Love Boxes and love notes with foster families, women recovering from addictions, teachers, doctors, police officers, firefighters and many others. We’ve send love notes and love boxes to people hurting from school shootings and shootings in Orlando, Dayton and other cities.
