Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Cooper.

Crystal, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Thank you for this opportunity. Let me tell you, I first got started in this entreprenerial journey about 10 years ago as a part-time entrepreneur. Somebody told me I was great at doing my makeup, and so I sought out opportunities to do makeup for other people. I am pretty good, but I understand that being a Pro Makeup Artist is not my calling, it’s just something I’m pretty good at.

So fast forward, after I got my Masters last year, a month later I was laid off. With 15 years of experience in strategic management and human resource solutions, I was still let the hell go. Companies ain’t loyal to you, and they certainly don’t owe you a thing.

But I took this as a green light from God, as MY opportunity to go full-time in business. Trust, it has been a journey for sure, but so worthwhile. The sweat equity, the tears, the wins, the solid network you make; I wouldn’t have it any other way. Now I incorporate the same strategies, systems, and gameplans that I used to build up other people’s corporations, to help small businesses thrive by helping them create their business operations. And it’s working out in my favor.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest opportunity I’ve realized is I can’t expect to grow and scale my business, alone. As a business owner, it important to know upfront what role you want to fulfill and the job duties that entails that as well as understanding what could be automated and what should be delegated. Once you understand those semantics; that will help your business run smoothier. We can NOT do everything ourselves and expect to have balance in our own life.

Please tell us about your business.
I am the founder and Director of Operations of Cohesive Consulting where we serve clients globally; virtually. We strategically assist business owners and corporations with developing their operational structure and leadership team to scale and simplify their process. Giving them more output of the business with less effort from them as the owner. Our team at Cohesive Consulting also handles online business management, project management, administrative duties, technical support, and implementation of automation.

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The characteristic that I feel is most important to my success is; the ability to be flexible. Being able to adapt with what is needed, the current demands, and who you serve is key to being successful. Take these Corona times we’re enduring as an example. If you have a product based business, have you shifted your business around to market more of what is needed and selling right now like cleaning essentials, green products, or just soap and body goods? If you have an ecommerce business, have you took a look at your vendors to see if you need to actually adjust where you obtain your products from? You have to be an action taker that adapts and approach flexibility with a plan.

Our pricing ranges depending on the services rendered, but initially we start the process by diagnosing the client’s needs, by having the clients schedule a consultation. We access the need with a Complementary 15 min. chat then we proceed to scheduling a consult or creating a package. Below are our consultations:
