Today we’d like to introduce you to DeAnn Bing.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve been practicing medicine for ten years. I completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine on the island of Dominica. After graduating from medical school, I attended a residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Ga as part of their Internal Medicine program. Once completing my residency, I was elected as one of two chief residents, and after a short time as chief resident, I transitioned into hospital-based practice as an attending physician for Piedmont Healthcare Corporation in 2012. In 2013, I co-founded HomeCare Medicine of Atlanta, which is a house calls primary care practice that delivers primary care services to patients in the home who otherwise cannot leave home to seek medical care from a primary care physician. This essentially became my introduction to the mobile space and potential opportunities in medicine. By delivering certain aspects of medical care, whether primary care or elective services, I have found that providing effective care and convenience is something that the greater Atlanta community is seeking. Therefore, I sought out additional training in the field of medical aesthetics with the desire to want to extend additional services to the community at large, while enhancing my professional knowledge in this emerging area of medical care. After completing training, I started Atlanta Mobile Aesthetics and Hydrotherapy with the desire to bring aesthetics services to the homes and communities of clients in the Atlanta area. After starting the practice, I quickly learned that the most effective strategy with connecting with clients in Atlanta is to partner with area spas and wellness centers to bring services into area businesses whose clientele already seek out these options. Since 2017, I have been offering elective medical aesthetics in and around the Atlanta area with great growth and success.
Has it been a smooth road?
The biggest challenge I’ve encountered has been reaching clientele who would prefer such services in the privacy of home. What we offer is the opportunity to reach out to area businesses with similar interests such as spas and wellness centers to bring services directly to their existing clientele. By partnering with local businesses, we can establish a professional working relationship with owners and build a repoire with their clients that provides a foundation of trust. Once this relationship is establish after an initial in office consultation at the local business we partner with, we can transition some services in home with clients or clients can continue to visit their local spa/wellness center monthly to continue to receives services there if they prefer. Often, the community at large is not accustomed to possibly receiving medical care of any kind in the home setting; therefore this at times has presented a challenge with educating clients on the option of having a physician provide services in home (thus making the initial in office consultation vital to our message). By providing this level of convenience with our business partners and their clients, I’ve found that this gives somewhat an edge to the competitive market in Atlanta that offers a wide array of medical aesthetic options.
We’d love to hear more about your business.

I’m most proud of our growth and partnerships over the past year. We have found a community in and around Atlanta that has been welcoming to partnering with our practice to provide additional services for their clientele. This trust has garnered unwavering support that I personally find motivating to learn more and enhance our presence in the community at large.
The biggest differentiator AMAH possess is that we are a mobile-based practice that is personable, professional and passionate about providing an overall enhancement in our client’s wellness, inside and out.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I believe Atlanta offers a great opportunity for mobile-based businesses as a whole. Convenience in today’s climate sells, it’s becoming more crucial to bring services right to the doors of those who seek out various options.
