Today we’d like to introduce you to Erin Robinson.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
After graduating from Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia, I went back to teach as a percussion instructor. It was an amazing experience because I was able to continue to do what I love as well as help students acquire band scholarships. Stephenson High School was always one of the top high schools who had multiple college directors and recruiters come and listen to students play. I saw that students from various schools in Dekalb County were always coming to Stephenson to meet with directors which were sometimes a hassle. They had to find a way to get there on top of possibly missing classes at their home school. NoteCloud Network was created for those students who didn’t have the opportunity to sit down in front of college directors. NoteCloud allows performing arts students wether its band, dance, voice, strings, or theater to audition online for scholarships. Their video is uploaded to our platform and transmitted directly to college directors and recruiters without the hassle of travel or travel cost.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth? No, it has been some very late nights and early morning from building the website from the ground up and reaching out to different colleges and institutions from around the world, informing them about NoteCoud and registering them on our platform. It’s hard when you are a new business trying to convince someone that what you have to offer is what they truly need to make their program grow. NoteCloud Network speaks for itself. Its helps streamline the recruiting process for performing arts programs while reducing overall costs for parents and institutions.

Please tell us about NoteCloud Network– what should we know?
NoteCloud Network was created for those students who didn’t have the opportunity to sit down in front of college directors. NoteCloud allows performing arts students wether its band, dance, voice, strings, or theater to audition online for scholarships Their video is uploaded to our platform and emailed directly to college directors and recruiters without the hassle of travel or travel cost. It’s simple, you record yourself on either your phone, webcam or camera, Upload your video on NoteCloud Network, upload and send. You will hear from the program within a couple of days to let you know if you are eligible for a scholarship. Audition Requirements are uploaded on our website for students to view before recording themselves.

It brings me joy to know that I a helping out my community by providing students a way to go to college. That is what I am most proud of. What sets me apart from others is that I have a background in music. I have been in a band since I was in the 5th grade. I understand what it takes to practice until you get it right, hard work and dedication, and consistency.

Playing the drums has allowed me to perform in Osaka, Japan with Universal Studios with Drumline Live. I was on the Hawks NBA Drumline, as well as performing with Beyonce at Coachella. I have had some wonderful experiences and I want other students to know that they can do it too!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Being consistent is a quality that I pride myself on. There have been times where I could have easily given up but I want to leave a footprint in my community as well as outside my community. Hard work really does pay off.
