Meet Gracyn Heisterberg of Moss Therapy Services – Glow with Gracyn

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gracyn Heisterberg.

Gracyn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I began my wellness journey in high school when my mom introduced me to hot yoga, along with meditation and mindfulness practices. I continued my wellness practices through college. The Covid-19 pandemic came when I was finishing up my last year of college. As a result of the sudden changes in my life brought by the pandemic, I developed health anxiety and my first panic attacks. I found that wellness and exercise were some of the important tools I could use to combat my anxiety.
I went to law school from 2021 to 2024. During law school, I learned more about myself than I anticipated. Including that being a lawyer was not the right path for me. I discovered I had high cortisol as a result of the pressure I was putting on myself. As I took a serious look at my wellness, I saw how prioritizing wellness changed my life. I decided to graduate from law school and not become a lawyer. Wellness is a way to practice self-love and support, and I would not have found the right path for me without it.
I’m so excited to enter the wellness space for my career and share my experience and knowledge with others. I want to support people on their own wellness journeys towards self-love and care. I feel like my own experience makes me unique as a wellness practitioner in my approach to clients due to my strong belief that wellness works.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I did just start the business in March! So far, it’s been pretty smooth. I’m still looking for new clients and trying to get the word out as much as possible. For me, getting here has been one of the hardest parts. I still struggle with “imposter syndrome” starting my own business in my twenties. But it gets better every day, and it’s been one of the most rewarding experiences to build this new kind of confidence in myself.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Moss Therapy Services – Glow with Gracyn?
I own a red light therapy business. We use a full-body, medical-grade wrap machine from Trifecta Light Systems. This machine is one of the most effective red light machines available on the market. We offer a 45 minute red light session, including 20 minutes of red light therapy and 10 minutes on the vibration plate. The vibration plate helps drain the fat released through the red light, as well as burn calories. We also offer a 75 minute personalized consultation that includes specific diet and exercise recommendations and body composition analysis along with the red light therapy and vibration plate. Red light has a range of amazing benefits, including inches of fat loss, reduced inflammation, resolving skin imperfections, and relieving anxiety and depression.
Our individualized and tailored experience sets Glow with Gracyn apart from others. During treatment, clients have access to personalized lifestyle recommendations from me. I provide more than just the machine; it’s about feeling good inside and out. Although, our machine is also one of the best on the market, meaning that clients will see better results at Glow with Gracyn than treatment from other places.
I want red light to feel accessible to everyone. More than that, I want wellness to feel accessible to everyone. Loving our bodies and doing what makes you feel good should be a regular part of everyone’s lives.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
My mom is my business partner and inspiration. She is more of an investing partner, as she started and still owns her own art consulting business based in Midtown, Atlanta. Watching my mom start her own business when I was in middle school and build it into the successful company it is today taught me so much about independence, sacrifice, and entrepreneurship. My mom had to overcome many obstacles despite challenges that came her way but was relentlessly determined to build her business and life. Growing up with her as a role model made me understand the value of hard work. I don’t expect building my own business to be easy, but I know I have her supporting me, and I’m lucky to have her advice and counsel.
