Meet Jayy Killah of Finessing For a Blessing Entertainment LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jayy Killah.

JayyKillah, born Michael Harris is a Hip Hop/R n’ B artist from the Southside of Atlanta. JayyKillah was born on November 26, 1999, and was raised in Riverdale, Ga (Clayton County) located on the southeast side of the metro Atlanta area. Surviving in a struggling environment JayyKillah made sure to maintain focus as he was tempted daily with the street life that surrounded him. JayyKillah, now age 20, was also brought up in the early 2000’s Atlanta which had an early effect on him in regards to music. Since a little one, JayyKillah was always in talent shows, played instruments, acted in school shows, sang in the chorus, and did any and everything there was to do that had something to do with entertainment. Unknowingly, he was already headed down the path that would soon be realized to be his destiny. It was around high school when he took it really seriously. Before the rap, he was not as outgoing as far personality was concerned and was more of the laid back, smoothe type and really wasn’t into the extra antics that came with being an artist. But the passion of music in his blood could not be fought with, as he comes from a long line of musicians, singers, and rappers. Therefore, starting making songs on his phone using headphones and an app, JayyKillah would begin to be more and more comfortable with the rapper he was becoming. He then upgraded to a low-level home studio, which led to a higher level home studio, which led to a lower grade real studio, and then eventually led to professional sounding studios. As time progressed from 2016 to now, JayyKillah has now hit the ground running and has established a major buzz for himself across Atlanta and especially the southside. He has been in positions with the majority of the major artists that come through Atlanta and plans to truly make a name for himself in 2020. He just recently dropped a music video entitled “Back In” and plans to use that traction to lead up to his awaiting new single dropping soon!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It most definitely wasn’t a smoothe path, JayyKillah has been through a tremendous amount of trials and tribulations and still fights family, financial, and internal battles and struggles even today.

Please tell us about Finessing For a Blessing Entertainment LLC.
JayyKillah is a recording artist himself, but his business name is Finessing For a Blessing Entertainment LLC which is an upcoming record label in Atlanta. We yet to sign any artists as the label is still on the rise but be sure to keep an eye out 2020.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I wouldn’t do anything differently because I feel as if everything happens for a reason, but one thing I would say is would’ve started earlier. I feel like I’m behind being 20 and I haven’t blown all the way up yet because people have done it in their teens. It just reminds me to go harder though.
