Today we’d like to introduce you to Joel Bazile.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I’m a Venezuelan native of Haitian descent who migrated to Irvington, New Jersey as a young boy. Influenced by the goings of the entertainment melting pot of New York and New Jersey, I set out to take the entertainment news industry by storm. My passion for entertainment news fueled my success, which allowed me to appear in several top entertainment publications, television series and a plethora of red-carpet events. My passion to penetrate the entertainment news world materialized tremendously when I created the now infamous TSL Exclusives. TSL flourished for many years before I decided to elevate my career by capitalizing on my notoriety within the entertainment community and launching my website www.JoelBazile.com. This website gives fans the opportunity to see one-on-one interviews with their favorite celebrities as well as keep current on the wide range of events taking place in the entertainment world.
Please tell us about your art.
I’m a journalist, I love the elements of reporting such as gathering information and interviewing people. My style of interviewing is different than others, I converse with artist rather than interviewing them. I want my viewers to see that artist are human being at the end of the day and behind the glints and glam everything isn’t always pretty.
What do you think about conditions for artists today? Has life become easier or harder for artists in recent years? What can cities like ours do to encourage and help art and artists thrive?
Nowadays, it’s all about who you know and not what you know, I hate that because it takes away from the artist craft. Everything is so accessible, as a journalist you have find your niche and use it to monopolize your marketplace. What I appreciate about Atlanta, there’s several P.R. companies that takes young professionals and mentor them.
