Hi Keylonda, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m Keylonda Lewis, but most people know me as Keykey. I’m a proud mother from North Florida who earned a civil engineering degree in Miami. In 2022, I found out I was expecting my little girl, and soon after, the COVID-19 pandemic turned the world upside down, putting my career on hold.
I’m not the type to sit idle. With a passion for helping people and creating beautiful things, I spent a couple of years searching for my spark. My love for the artistic side of engineering and design led me to explore how I could use these skills to help others and make a profit. I reached out to business owners, offering my services as a social media manager and graphic designer. The results were incredible—within a week of using my designs, one client received 22 new leads for her cosmetic business.
That success confirmed I had made the right choice. Now, two years into my business, I’ve generated over $100,000. My drive is to provide generational wealth for my daughter. I know life doesn’t always go as planned, but I believe there’s always a way to push past visible limits and succeed. My journey has been one of resilience and passion, and I’m committed to continuing this path for my family’s future.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
This has been a ROUGH road. As an entrepreneur, I had to learn to set boundaries and know my worth.
Some nights I worked until 3 am, woke up and 7 am and worked some more.
At first I doubted myself and if I was doing the right thing because my degree is in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation. So making a switch to digital marketing realm was very hard. I felt like I was failing and wasting money… but I later learned that the skills I’ve learned, I can still use just in a unique way.

As a multifaceted professional, I specialize in social media management, content creation, web design, graphic design, and brand design. What sets me apart in this competitive landscape is my versatility and commitment to excellence across multiple disciplines.
