Meet LIV

Today we’d like to introduce you to LIV.

Thanks for sharing your story with us LIV. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am a rnb artist out of Atlanta, I was raised in college park and I spent most of my childhood in Decatur a few blocks from SWD high school. I truly love my city; it’s given me a lot and it’s definitely shown me a lot. Back in 2013, I originally started just writing music, at the time I felt that I just wanted to write for other artist and potentially mainstream artist as well (which is still something I want to do) but the more I would create music and show songs to a couple of friends I found my purpose, I found what truly excited me and it was the reactions from others when they listen to and indulge in my music, that for me was golden because no matter how big or small the feeling that you get when people know the words to lyrics I wrote is priceless!

So I brainstormed on my image, my name and the essence I wanted to bring to the game. The name LIV comes from my middle name Olivia, it hits home for me because it is truly who I am, I speak it through my music and my life. I visualize myself as an artist with flavor, an artist with music that will last for generations. So in 2017, I dropped my first album called “The LIV Way”, very classic album something that shows me as an artist, giving true feeling and vibes throughout my records. I speak of things in my music that is so relatable they become real.

I’m always creating or being creative, I believe in quality over quantity so I only record when the vibe is right, it has to feel right it can’t be rushed, my work is a reflection of me and with that, I want to deliver the quality that people will appreciate. Moving forward at the beginning of this year I dropped my second album called “Crush” this album is really a piece of art, I took my time with this album. Releasing this album was exciting because its an elevation from my first album that I dropped in 2017, both albums are available on all digital platforms. Lastly, my team is truly amazing, Its LIV and coming much sooner than later. The LIV Way, The Only Way!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has been a smooth road, life is what you make it. Yes, I’ve had ups and downs but truly the downs always turned up because the obstacle is YOU and if you stay on track it will guide you. LIV life, and spread love!

So, as you know, we’re impressed with LIV – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
I’m an artist and I have a clothing line called LIV, the brand is creative ways to LIV the life that makes you happy or the life that you want to LIV, inspiring others to LIV with purpose. I am known for my talent as an artist and I believe what sets me apart from others is me being myself and nothing less, truly authentic because there’s only one you and thats the focus. If you can overcome whats within others will see it too and you wouldn’t need words to express it, it’ll show. I am proud of how far my brand has come because it started from nothing in my bedroom to something life-changing.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for the future is to get more listeners, spread LIV as much as possible, I’m looking forward to delivering great music that people can catch a vibe anytime they listen or hear it.
