Meet Mic Mccoy of MicVision Art in East Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mic Mccoy.

Mic, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
MicVision was birthed from the struggle. Three years ago, I had lost everything. Discouraged, I almost gave up on life and all of my goals. During that time I purchased my first camera and laptop and decided to just document my daily life through photography. Out of a storm MicVision was birthed. Most ppl believe MicVision incorporates my name, when in fact it is a representation of allowing God’s message of love and power to be spoken through the vision he has given me. A microphone or Mic is used to amplify a voice or message so that it may be understood much. Further away than it’s original depth, this is where the name MicVision derives.

Has it been a smooth road?
Not at all, there have been times I felt I was the only one who believed in me, times where I wanted to quit, times where people tried to take advantage of my gifts, but it didn’t break me down. It made me a stronger person, so I’m thankful for those moments just as much as the good.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with MicVision Art – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
MicVision specializes in Visual arts, ranging from photography to videography, to graphic design. Our ingenuity and forward thinking allow us to create concepts far beyond average interests propelling us forward into the future instead of relishing in the present.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love that everyone is driven to do something, but that drive also causes hella traffic. 😂😂🤦🏾‍♂️
