Meet Nicole Royal of 4thQuarterPowerHouse in Fulton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Royal.

So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I am an independent artist I started rapping about a year and a half ago and ever since then I’ve been going even harder daily to drop what I believe and know the fans love to hear. In my raps, I talk about my life the pain I’ve been through as well as things that other regular day people can relate to. I make a lot of hype songs as well as real songs that make you feel what I’ve been through not to say I’ve been through a lot but I have had some ups and downs. Being a female artist is kind of hard to be put on the map but I believe what makes me stand out the most is how I deliver and what I deliver on. Most female rappers talk about sexual tendencies and what men owe them on the other hand, I’m speaking on how I’m going up in the game by speaking on real life and what went on around me and what I picked up game on. I’m originally from southwest Atlanta but currently reside in Lovejoy.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been a smooth road as far as my work because in my eyes, no female really raps or delivers like me but like I said, the only obstacle would be that I am a female and female artists sometimes get overlooked.

Can you give our readers some background on your music?
I’m an artist I rap. My category of most of my work would be hip hop. One of my most popular songs right now that’s out would be my single called “Free Me” I’m most proud of the feedback that I gain from just dropping music alone I may not have 1million fans but I’m definitely having people out there who listen to my songs almost everyday. What sets me apart is my diversity I can literally go crazy on any beat in my opinion there hasn’t been a song or feature that I haven’t delivered on.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I wouldn’t say I’m lucky but I’m most definitely blessed to be as talented as I am being a female artist. I feel it would just take one person to notice me for my life to change within moments.
