Today we’d like to introduce you to Sheba Bonner.

Sheba, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I use to get massages often and due to the spike in cancer cases the wholistic health industry was exploding; so I decided to attend massage school. I was married and 5 months pregnant with my second son when I initially signed up for massage school. This all happened in 2009, and here I am 7 years later running a thriving massage business. I first opened up Fresh Lemongrass Massage in April of 2013. I knew I wanted to be a spa owner when I first started massage school.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Honestly, it has always been a smooth road. When you put your heart and soul into your passion it shows. Your clients pick up on that positive energy and they tell their friends, neighbors, church members, co- workers, and family members and the rest is history. Word of mouth is a great marketing tool and the greatest compliment for your business.

Please tell us about Fresh Lemongrass Massage.
Fresh Lemongrass Massage, LLC was first established in April of 2013. We offer massages only. We offer Swedish, Deep tissue, Thai, Lymphatic drainage, Sports, Neuro-Muscular, Prenatal, and Hot Stone Massage. We are known for our deep tissues massages, which offer relief to the client that may have chronic issues, such as low back pain and degenerative disk syndrome. I’m proud that we can offer a quality massage at an affordable price.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I am a firm believer in fate; God put me in this career and location, because it was what I was destined to do. I wouldn’t change a thing.
