Meet Skeet Watts of Endless Summer Enterprise

Today we’d like to introduce you to Skeet Watts.

Warren “Skeet” Watts was born in the small country of Guyana located in south of America. After migrating with his family at the tender age of 3 to the United States, he made a home in Newark, NJ. He was raised in the city’s Southward which holds some of the highest crime rates in the US. Overcoming obstacle after obstacle, Watts was accepted into University High School of the Humanities “Gifted and Talented” program for 7th & 8th Grade. At University is where Skeet’s love for the Entertainment Arts and business would begin to flourish. From Stage Plays, Musicals, Talent Shows to Slam Dunk contest, somehow he had his hands in everything. Graduating in 2009 Watts would bring in the Fall at Rutgers University- Camden Campus on a partial baseball scholarship. Skeet would study business management and communications as an undergrad.

In his first semester he took the campus radio station by storm, being the ONLY station playing hip hop and rap music, not to mention breaking barriers and doing numbers that have never before been done. Within two months Skeet had become a program director at the station and essentially was where he wanted to be. Using resources and connections made through the broadcast world Skeet was ready to start his journey as an entrepreneur and he packed up his things and moved to Atlanta where he would almost immediately team up with Young Money/Cash Money, starting off as an assistant, to DJ, to running the entire DJ division to management and consultant. After a few days years of building and learning under one of the foundation labels of hip hop, Skeet started Endless Summer Entertainment, a one-stop shop entertainment hub. Music, Fashion, Arts, Film, Merchandise, etc. Building, Revitalization and Creating Brands.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was definitely not a smooth road, Money was always a major issue, from making it, to keeping it, to making it multiply. That was one of the main issues I faced, with all the hardships, Money was definitely the biggest bump in the road.

Endless Summer Enterprise – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Endless Summer Entertainment continues to be at the forefront of providing a wide range of services for all aspects of entertainment. We currently operate both as a fully functioning entertainment company and as a Record Label. (Endless Summer Music Group)

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Proudest moment of my career so far would have to bring Young Money to Newark, NJ (my home town) back in 2012-2013. This put everything in perspective and made it that much more real. These guys were my idols, I have a bunch of tattoos because of Lil Wayne, and for them to come and show my city love, that was dope. That made me go 100x harder, and from there, my label was started.
