Meet Tabitha Caver of Good Steward Investments

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tabitha Caver.

Originally from Detroit, MI, I moved to Atlanta, GA, when I was only 19 years old, and it was then I discovered my purpose of helping others achieve personal and business goals. A short while after moving to Atlanta, my husband Quincy introduced himself in the church lobby, where we still attend today. I found an unexpected friend and later, that friendship grew into a special type of love that transformed into a covenant with God as we said I do. Twelve years later, we are still saying I do. We are the owners of a God-centered real estate company. Although real estate is at the center of our company, Good Steward Investments, we have the heart to serve. More than a decade later, our business has seen substantial growth from nationally featured television shows to real estate expansion that includes multifamily and flipping. We are currently filming another television show with a major network and excited for this latest adventure

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I don’t believe that such a thing exists, easy paths. Even when it appears to be easy, it will always cost you something, I have learned that the hard way. Smooth seas don’t make great sailors. My life’s journey started off from a rough start, so I am ver familiar with hard paths. You see, I was not even supposed to be here. My father told my mom to get an abortion and gave her the money and a bouquet of flowers to get it done and she never saw him again. From foster care and being adopted at an early age to where I am now has been one bump and pothole after another. Failed relationships to low self esteem and everything in between, I have had my share of valley experiences. Some struggles were voluntary, involuntary, and others were univited. Now that I’m older, stronger, and wiser true healing has taken place with the love and support of my counselor and community. Now, after 10 years of marriage and three kids later, its new struggles that I faced. Finding the rhythm in different seasons of my marriage and family, serving in church, and dealing in real estate, all of this can be overwhelming and challenging at times. I have to consistently and consciously put Jesus at the center and put my whole health first. I have learned that I can’t pour from an empty cup, especialy at this level.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Good Steward Investments?
Good Steward Investments is here to be an example of how you can build a faith based company with integrity that serves people well. Our family business is hardly slowing down these days. I specialize and lead the residential real estate division and head up the design team of our real estate company Good Steward Investments. Quincy is a trailblazer in real estate acquisition, and he is literally the boots on the ground as he manages the construction division. So what’s next for this real estate family? Quincy and Tabitha have their eyes fixed on Jesus, their daughters, and building new construction.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success to?
I only have one- God. He is the only reason why I get to do what I do and why I have what I have. My success and who I a is a manifestation of what is done in private and behind closed doors, like being the keeper of my home and stewarding my relationships well.. It’s about what is done in my secret place, my war room while I am praying and worshiping. I am known as The First Lady of Real Estate, and my mission is to assist others in achieving their LIFESTYLE GOALS through “The Complete Home Experience.” I have accomplished alot and have become successful in the process I have reached many goals like becoming a real estate broker, receiving million-dollar awards, apartment owner, and establishing ministries in the church. But I want you all to know my greatest accomplishments is wife and mom.

My hope is not that others know what I do, how many awards I have received, or what TV shows I did. I pray and hope that the ones close to me, my clients, people I served know me by my countenance, my character, and the way I made them feel. I don’t necessarily set out to make myself apart from others. There is something on the inside that I genuinely care about people. Maybe because of how I grew up, but I want to be the best version of myself that I can be and be that same person to others.
