Meet Tameka Duncan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tameka Duncan.

Tameka Rachelle Duncan is the wife to Damian Duncan, a mother of eight, an author of the 30-Day Women’s Encouragement Journal, certified liturgical dancer, public notary and certified medical assistant and billing coder. Tameka was born and raised in Miami, FL and recently located to Atlanta, GA where is the CEO & Founder of Grace Medical Enterprise, LLC a Medical Billing & Credentialing Consulting Business, Founder of Young Ladies of Destiny and Tameka Duncan Ministries. She is a member of Salt Life Experience Pastor Emi & Erik Clanton, where she serves on the praise team, minister-elect. Director of Outreach. She currently attends United Kingdom Global Impact Conservatory under the leadership of Apostle Cierra L. Jones & Women In Ministry Institute majoring in theology under the leadership Prophetess Treasor Buskey. Tameka Duncan mentors’ young ladies to help found there who they are and lead thru to Christ thru the arts in liturgical dancing singing, mentoring, writing poems.

Tameka’s mission is to encourage to empower women and girls around the world to walk confidently in their calling through coaching, mentoring, intercessory prayer and prophetic dance. She enjoys serving and volunteering as the Vice President at Meadowcreek High School for the cheerleading squad where she can teach like skills and social skills to the young girls.

Overcoming so many obstacles like divorce, low self-esteem and self-doubt, just to name a few, Tameka’s resilience and determination to win and walk boldly in faith and freedom has pushed her towards a life of purpose, persistence and passion.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road wasn’t smooth at all. I struggle with low self -esteem, I compared myself to others, I had control issues, anger issues, being rejected. One day I told God that I wanted to be free because I couldn’t be fully used because of the things I was internally dealing with. My journey to work on the inner me, the things that I didn’t want to deal with. I dealt with I allow God to purge me of those things that I struggle with, thru prayer and deliverance. During this time, I stay to myself and just wanted hear from God. Once these things started to break, I began to feel better about myself, I began to look at things differently. It made me become a better mom to my kids. Knowing that I had these issues and that I couldn’t be who God called me to be. Since I transition to Atlanta my faith became stronger, I had to be stretch in my faith, my trust in God and allow Him to lead me.

Tameka Duncan Ministries – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My first company Grace Medical Enterprise is a billing company where we specialize in substance abuse, physician billing, DME and Lab billing. Consulting and Credentialing. I am most proud that I able to help providers and my staff to become a better them. To know that I can provide a solution for them. What sets me apart from others is my communication with my clients. Exceed their expectations on what they ask for.

My second company Tameka Duncan Ministries is where I can empower women and young girls around the world to walk boldly in faith and freedom. The thing I am most proud is that I am able to help others to see who God has to called them to be.

What sets me apart is that I am gifted in the area of being a broken women and how I am not ashamed of what I been through and don’t mind sharing it.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
My definition of success, you must push thru all obstacles, having a mindset to change to know that you fail in process of being successful.
