Hi Tionna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hi, My name is Tionna B and I am from Indianapolis, Indiana. A little bit about myself, I was born and raised up on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis. I was always that little girl that loved being a kid but was the One that always dreamed of being some sort of a “Business Woman” when I grew up. I knew at such an early age that I wanted to make an impact in the community and just had a vision for just about anything. I was always told that I would be a Visionary one day! I would always have a thrill about visualizing what the great outcomes would be If we “Woulda, Shoulda, and Coulda” when it came to a business idea. So this alone instilled in me till I became an adult, so I eventually became a Serial Entrepreneur by credentials and experience after graduating college. I now have multiple business ventures as a Beauty Brand, Content Creator, Vendor Machine Operator/Owner, and a Business Brand Consultant!
I have been residing in Atlanta,GA for the last 4 years now. I moved to Atlanta to not only enjoy the ride of the amazing Culture and networks here but to also expand my horizons with my businesses as well. My latest business venture is a beauty business brand called TBNaturals Co. that was launched in 2021. We offer a diverse range of Haircare and Bodycare products and accessories. We have become the #1 source for all the beauty needs! Big Thanks to God, My Ambition, and the Major support behind these ventures alone have got me where I am today!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
One of the main struggles I have faced for TBNaturals Co was having to temporarily shut down in order to accomplish Cosmetology School here in Atlanta. It was so hard to keep it running while balancing a full-time job, schooling, mom life, and more. After I graduated, I finally rebranded TBN and relaunched in 2024. I was a bit nervous for the turn out thinking it wouldn’t do great because of the shut down. But to my surprise my former customers were still here to support and we have now scaled back in like we never left.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success as thriving in missions for my communities that allows us to continue to create great paths for the next generations to come. Success is also becoming an inspirational to others while dominating in your passions, skills, and/ or talents.
