Today we’d like to introduce you to Georgine Garcia.
Georgine, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started in 2015 in my extra one bedroom I had at the time. I would go out to clubs, gatherings, and would always get compliments. Like “oh, where you get that? That’s Hot or that’s cute” That’s how I came up with the name in 2015, so I wanted to make money not just tell people where to go. I also wanted to show how to look top notch without breaking your pockets . I got with my family member in Los Angeles, CA and got a wholesale distributor to supply me with trendy sexy Hot items. I try to go for a boojie for less boutique! I started online and do pop up shops and I’m slowly growing.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a lot of disappointing and eye-opening situations for me because the people you think will be there to support dont even support one bit. That has motivated me to not only show them that you can do it but to see that it’s slowly growing. The advice I would give is to keep following your dreams regardless of what the sidelines are chirping eventually, you will see change trust the process.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about That’s Hot – what should we know?
