Meet Yenifer Gregorio

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yenifer Gregorio.

Yenifer, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Yenifer Gregorio, and most people know me as Jennygfit! I was born in Cuernavaca, Mexico and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. My fitness journey started early on as I struggled to feel good about my physical appearance. It wasn’t easy, but as I started working out, I began to not only feel good about the way I looked but for the first time, I felt good about being myself. I am truly grateful for what fitness has taught me; that with discipline, a strong work ethic, and commitment, working towards your goals is achievable for anyone. And that’s where my passion lies, educating and training women to reach their fitness goals, and to feel good both inside and out.

Has it been a smooth road?
Like everyone else, starting my fitness journey was the hardest part. I didn’t know where to begin and often left the gym embarrassed. Not knowing what muscles to focus on or even how to use the machines at the gym. I also found myself wanting to quit because of the frustration. It took me years to get to where I’m at now, but I can say it was worth it. I’ve learned so much about myself and grew in ways I never knew I could and most importantly it made me realize that we are capable of so much if I set our minds to it.

Along with training your physical fitness, it’s equally important to train your mental fitness. What’s the point of having a great body if you don’t feel good about yourself? That’s what led me to work with other women and inspiring others to be physically fit, emotionally strong, and spiritually sound.
