Nathaniel, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Born and raised in Gainesville, FL. Started working in commercial kitchens in college. Moved to GA in August 2015. I continued to work and learn in kitchens working my way up to a fine dining sous chef. I’ve done every position in the restaurant industry from FOH to BOH to management. After spending countless years in the kitchen, I decided to branch out and start my own business. Cooking for the community around me.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not a smooth road. I’ve learned and matured through many mistakes, “no’s”, up and downs. They all build you and make you stronger and more knowledgeable about what you’re doing.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in creating fun and tasteful comfort food. I’m a country boy lol with city life experience. I combine them both in addition to the many different cooking styles I’ve learned over the years and simply create a dish anyone from any background would enjoy. I’m proud of the consistency in my work. I pay attention to detail so presentation is everything to me. Believe it or not, people eat with their eyes first!
