Rising Stars: Meet Sonia Nilsen of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sonia Nilsen.

Hi Sonia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My name is Sonia Nilsen and Igrew in Mpls Minnesota and my mother introduced me to natural foods like homemade yogurt and kumbucha mushrooms 50 years ago .I learned at a very young age that when I would find birds that were not able to fly and I would put them in my teepee my mother had bought and gave water and would find worms . I was 5 or 6 at the time and thought I was Native American little girl even though my mother was full blooded Norweigian.

I would leave them in the teepee for 3 days then I would open the hatch and they would fly away. This is where I learned about sacred space ……

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So many struggles my husband was murdered in Los Angeles and that ended my acting career and I went on years of soul searching and fasting and then in 28 I had a healing crisis up in the mountains of Hendersonville N.C. where my mother lived . She had just suddenly passed I was 30 and then I developed a blockage in my intestines. The rest of the story is found in my new book YOUTHING
Ancient Rejuvenation Practices and the Science of Longevity on Amazon Books or Barnes and Noble.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I an an Author, Speaker and a Brand Ambassador for the Natural Health Industry . My focus for 20 years was getting certifications and running a health food store in Atlanta and doing indvidual consultations.
I now am on a promotional phase with my book and developing my Speaking career to ages 55 and up in the field of Longevity and Detoxification. I learned from the great naturapaths of this country and combined with the top Longevity experts philosophy and expertise like Dr. Sinclair ,Dr . Valtor
Longo and Dr. William LI .
I then created from the book my 8 YOUTHING principles.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My mentors were Dr. Bernard Jenson ,Dr. Christopher , Dr. Shultz and these men trained with each other and gave great insight about natural herbs and the raw food healing protocols.
Then I moved on to Dr. Gabriel Cousins and took classes at his healing center and studied spiritual nutrition and the Essenes which brought an angelic realm into my being .
Lat but not least is Dr Robert Morse who studies with all he above and he is still teaching focusing on fruit and cleansing the kidney lymph system like no one could .
