Rising Stars: Meet Steffi Nicole

Today we’d like to introduce you to Steffi Nicole.

Hi Steffi, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Somewhere on my human journey, I realized the natural spark and quirky creativity that infused my Spirit was stuffed out and squeezed into a box void of all colors, movement, and space for growth. I was suffocating from the inside out. I kept trying to pull the essence of my Soul to the surface over and over again, struggling to spiral Her out of me. I realized that I had learned that ‘success’ within this system would only be mine if I betrayed myself, for my true essence did not fit the system’s predetermined path.

Society promised me that by following its predetermined path, I would find happiness and success. But it didn’t. I was just empty, depleted, and living off the fumes of exhaustion. I was young, so I couldn’t understand why I was so tired and unsettled. I ventured on a journey to find a different way. A way I intuitively knew, deep, deep down was within me and right for me.

I realized I was not whole and true to my authentic self. I was living a life prescribed by the Domination System that over-valued the masculine energy and led with Ego.

At the same time of coming to this realization, I was consulting with corporations helping them embrace empathy, creativity and infusing purpose within their business’ innovation endeavors. I saw a correlation between them and myself – we were both victims to the Domination System where we were detached from our authentic selves, our Soul purpose and connection to each other Mother Earth. But why? How did we get here? How did the Domination System come to be? How can we transition to a new way of operating that is in alignment to our True Selves – internally and within business?

This led me to four years of research in understanding the greater System we found ourselves in; two MAs in Design Management and Women’s Spirituality; and five product offerings that solve for the question of “How can we transition from being a product of the Domination System to being a designer of the Partnership System by embracing the Feminine and Soul within our lives?”

I call myself a Transition Designer helping companies and individuals navigate the transition from the old system of domination to creating a new system of partnership through consulting and transformation products (a course and a planner available); a Mural Energy Healer who uses the Feminine Energy to uplift and heal spaces through art; and a Feminine Energy Clothing Designer who releases the suppressed Feminine through pattern design.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Ha! A smooth road. Maybe from the outside looking in. Opportunities keep presenting themselves to me, and everything keeps working out but it is a fucking process everyday to chill out my Ego. Being an entrepreneur who is seeking to design a new way of operating requires so much shadow work. It’s not about how many hours I work on the computer, but rather the energy and emotional patterns I am able to shift through – for me and my ancestors, so I can continue to expand and show up in alignment to my Soul in this physical realm. There are a lot of “us” out here that don’t fit the mold of this current System – and staying rooted in our authenticity and straddling the line of being of this world and creating the new world is hard work.

I constantly feel misunderstood; I feel “too much”; I feel that my elevator pitch is not simple and packaged … even answering these questions is stressful because there’s so much I want to say, I want to do and it’s not one little product – it’s much more than that.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a muralist, consultant, product designer, clothing designer.

Murals: I am a muralist who channels the Feminine to help uplift spaces and heal spaces that have been oversaturated with the Wounded Masculine and Ego. Think Energy healing for environments.

Consultant: I’m a Systems Thinker who uses Earth-Centered Design and Sustainable Leadership to infuse Nature as a stakeholder in business + innovation efforts. This solves business challenges while instigating systemic change.

Product Designer: I design quarterly planners and corresponding courses to support individuals on their journey of transformation, so they can be a tool for systemic change.

Clothing Designer: I design clothing to release the Feminine in an effort to dismantle the patriarchy.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
There is another way of Being that is waiting for you. You are the Light.

You are the Magic.

You are the gift.

You are the way.

You are here to help shift us.

You are the change we have been waiting for.

Realize this. Embody this. And by doing so, you will naturally lead the way. Mother Earth needs us to wake up and stop running from our Authentic Selves. The power is truly within. Cliche, but fuck, it’s all so true.

I do this work to encourage others to join the journey, but honestly, I’m talking to myself a lot of the time, encouraging me to keep going.

We can really turn this world around.

Change yourself, change the system.

Simple equation.

Not necessarily easy to do every day, but we can do it.
