Meet Jeremiah Stricklin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremiah Stricklin.

Hi Jeremiah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Erin and I met right after college. I was starting my solo career and we fell in love in, like, 20 minutes. We both agreed it’d be silly not to spend every possible moment on the road and on stage singing together. Now we’re flipping a van into an Rv to live on the road together full time with our dog Noodles. We’ve released two albums and there’s no signs of slowing down.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Music, in most cases, is a struggle unto itself. Pandemic was probably the greatest obstacle we’ve faced. We’d committed our life to the act of traveling and playing in front of people, then had to relearn how to be regular people. During the pandemic, I almost drowned in a Lake in North Georgia. What followed was eight months of depression and panic attacks and my introduction to therapy. After that, nothing seems to be tough to overcome. We’ve always had each other for those moments and I can’t imagine surviving a pandemic with anyone else.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are a touring indie-folk Duo called Oh Jeremiah. We got married in 2016 and have been singing together for almost ten years. We make wild music videos and, soon, will live in a van across the country.

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Hear our music on Spotify, come see a show, or check out our videos on Youtube.
