Community Highlights: Meet Samantha Pridgen of A-League Virtual Assistant Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Pridgen.

Hi Samantha, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My name is Samantha Pridgen and I’m from Southeastern, North Carolina. I’m thirty-two years old and I have a six year old son named Ayden who is my entire world!

Like a lot of success, stories mine has seen its share of struggles. Some I could have avoided and then at times life was just “lifeing”. The breaking point for me happened when my son and I moved to Georgia to live with a friend and before I could make it out of my first 30 days at my new job, we were homeless without notice! I was forced to move back home to North Carolina to start adulthood again! At this point, I had to have a real conversation with myself about the life I had created for myself and my son. I knew that I was capable of doing better so I wrote out a plan to do just that. I owed that to Ayden if no one else!

Any and all that I’ve accomplished in both my personal and business life since that time is a direct reflection of my efforts to always challenge myself to live better and provide stability for Ayden.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It most definitely hasn’t been easy or smooth! One thing that I’ve learned about myself is, my track record for getting through tough times is 100%. This is why I have to keep going no matter what.

One of the most rewarding challenges I’ve had to take on is being a mom to a child on the ASD Spectrum. A challenge that far too many are afraid to speak on. Even with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and experience working as a play therapist I still had a hard time processing Ayden’s diagnosis. It didn’t make him any less than perfect to me, but I was very much scared of the unknowns and knowns along this journey. Though I’ve learned to not push Ayden to be “normal” but to embrace HIM, he’s thriving! He’s taught me so much about love, acceptance, confidence, forgiveness, and being courageous! He’s also very smart, energetic, loving, and a leader in his classroom! It took a lot of prayers, tears, questions, therapies, and teamwork along the way and it’s all been worth it!

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a Virtual Assistant/Social Media Manager and I also do Graphic Design as well. I specialize in helping millennial business owners reclaim their time by taking on everyday business tasks so they can focus on what’s most important: their revenue and strategy!

Our mission is to make your load lighter as a business owner so that you can focus not only on what matters to you in business but in your leisure time as well! Our goal is to help your business “Knock It Out the Park Daily” with our assistance.

I offer an array of Administrative and Social Media Services that can assist any business running more efficiently! I exclusively work with the: Transportation Industry, Fashion, Beauty, && Finance Industries!

We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Risk taking is necessary! How can you know the unknown without taking a risk! My mom will tell you I’ve been the her “dare devil” child all of my life! I love a thrill and I sometimes live in impulse!

Every huge accomplishment I’ve made was based on me taking a risk!
