Exploring Life & Business with Devyn Gipson of Devynity Fit, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Devyn Gipson.

Hi Devyn, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey started very personal. Like so many women, I was just trying to find my own way back to myself. After having my daughter, I found myself in a body and mindset that felt foreign. The methods that may have worked for me before motherhood no longer served me. I had to learn how to create time for my health while balancing being a wife, a mother, and everything in between. Through that process, I realized it wasn’t about ‘getting my old body back”, it was about building something new, something stronger, more efficient, and sustainable for the season of life I was in.

As I committed to my own wellness journey, not just physically but mentally and emotionally, I started attracting other women who related to my story. Women who wanted to feel strong, confident, and empowered but didn’t always feel represented or supported in traditional fitness spaces. That’s where my passion for coaching really took root.

With the support of my husband and daughter, who are truly my “why”, I built my coaching career from a place of sisterhood and community. I’m not just here to train bodies; I’m here to help women shift their mindset, build confidence and embrace a version of themselves they didn’t even know was possible. Over the years, I’ve learned that fitness is not one-size-fits-all, especially for women. What works for one season may not work for another and I’ve built my coaching philosophy around helping women navigate those seasons.

Now, I get to work with women from all walks of life… moms, professionals, wives, entrepreneurs; who are ready to stop chasing quick fixes and start building real, lasting strength inside and out. I truly believe fitness is bigger than the gym; it’s about creating a lifestyle that honors where you are while helping you get to where you want to be.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s definitely been far from a smooth road. Growth comes with growing pains and I’ve had my share of them. One of the biggest struggles was learning how to balance everything. Being a mother, a wife, a business owner and still making sure I was showing up for myself. There were plenty of moments where I felt pulled in a million directions, questioning if I was doing enough or if I was even capable of doing it all.

Another challenge was battling the mindset of perfection. In the beginning, I felt like I had to have it all figured out. That everything needed to look a certain way before I could step fully into my purpose. But I had to learn that progress is messy sometimes and that’s okay. No need for perfectionism. Being consistent and staying committed even when life gets heavy.

There were financial struggles too. Investing in myself, building my business, learning how to create something sustainable without always having a clear blueprint to follow. And of course, navigating the opinions and doubts that sometimes come from others when you choose to take a path that’s not traditional.

But every setback, every hard season, every lesson shaped me into the coach, the woman, and the business owner I am today. The challenges taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of giving myself grace while still holding myself accountable. And that’s exactly what I try to pour back into the women I serve because I know firsthand what it feels like to fight for your better.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My business, Devynity Fit, LLC, is rooted in women’s fitness but it goes so much deeper than just workouts. I specialize in coaching women through strength training, nutrition guidance, and mindset coaching. At the heart of it, I help women transform their relationship with their bodies and their minds.

What sets Devynity Fit apart is that I’m not here to sell quick fixes, crash diets, or unrealistic expectations. I create space for women to feel seen in every season of their life especially those seasons that most fitness spaces don’t always speak to, like postpartum, busy motherhood, or simply starting over. My approach is built around strength; physically, mentally, emotionally and teaching women how to actually build muscle, confidence and long-term success without burning themselves out.

I focus a lot on education. Teaching my clients how to train properly, how to fuel their bodies for the results they want and how to navigate real life while still honoring their goals. I want every woman I work with to feel empowered not just in the gym but in every part of her life.

Brand wise, I’m most proud of the sisterhood and community that has grown from Devynity Fit. It’s not just about me but the women who show up for themselves, support one another, and inspire others through their own transformations as well. The environment we’ve built is real, it’s safe and it’s full of women who are rooting for one another.

Whether you’re a busy mom, a woman trying to start over, or someone who’s been intimidated by fitness spaces, Devynity Fit is here to show you that there’s room for you here. We’re building bodies, yes but we’re building confidence, strength and a lifestyle that you can carry for years to come.

What’s next?
I’m always dreaming, always evolving. For the future, my biggest focus is continuing to expand Devynity Fit, LLC into a full wellness experience for women — beyond just workouts. I want to create more programs, courses, and in-person events that not only help women build their bodies but also pour into their mindset, confidence, and overall well-being.

Community is everything to me, so I’m looking forward to hosting more workshops, retreats, and events where women can come together, connect, and continue to grow in a safe, empowering space. I’m also working on building resources that can reach women no matter where they are whether they’re local or across the country. They’ll still feel supported and guided through their journey.

Long-term, I see Devynity Fit becoming a full movement. One that continues to break the idea that fitness has to look a certain way or fit a certain mold. I want women to feel seen, strong and capable in every season of life.

There are some exciting things brewing behind the scenes but at the core, my mission will always stay the same: helping women build strength inside and out and doing it in a way that’s soulful, sustainable and true to who they are
