We’re looking forward to introducing you to Stacee Nino. Check out our conversation below.
Stacee, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
The most important thing to me out of these three would be energy. Great aligned energy bring forth great things and the right energy attracts beautiful spirits, joy and great health. and most times even money. I’ve been on a journey to make sure to stay away from bad energy because I learned along the way that great energy will bring out the integrity and intelligence in a person. Great Energy also keeps you motivated, and wanting to do more in a day to day life.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Allow me to reintroduce myself my name is Stacee Nino. I am an actress, film producer, business owner, a mother, and I am now dabbling into writing so soon you will be able to add Writer and author to the list. I want to start with my cosmetics Line that I’ve started back in 2018, in which is a small business but It’s my baby and I am still watching it grow to this day. It’s a beauty brand which consist of lipstick, matte lipsticks, lip, gloss, lashes, lip, liners, and more. I am also the owner for Big Nino Productions and I have two movies that I produce so far under the production company. My first movie, “.The cleanup” will be dropping this fall and I am excited about it. I want to take time to thank everybody involved in that film that was directed by thee one and only Best Film Director of the year; Brandon Holland. I also have coming soon my second movie under the production, “Major Heist”. This movie was directed by Nelson J. Davis and it was different because it was filmed in freezing temperatures and will never be forgotten. lol. So thank you to everybody that was dedicated to this film. Please be on the lookout for those two. I am also writing my third film which I will be casting soon for, so I have been busy. I would say for a girl born in Valdosta, Georgia to come this far is a dream come true sometimes, although it has its ups and downs I know that God hasn’t brought me this far to turn back. That’s what motivates me even more to keep going! Someone said to me one time, that will the childhood Stacee be proud of the woman you are today? I would like to say, I think she most definitely would! It was a time where I thought I would just be nothing in this world just off of what I grew up around, which was no motivation no support. Where I came from women depended on section 8, welfare, food stamps etc. Not that I’m knocking it, but I always wanted more for myself so here. I am here today to say to anybody that believe in themselves you can do whatever you put your mind to! I love when people come up to me and say they see me in this movie that movie. I want to inspire those that look up to me and say I want to do that too!
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
This is hard to answer because I feel no one sees the real me or would understand me unless I open up to them. Once I open up that’s when someone sees me clearly but it’s like I haven’t opened up to no one in a while, so I may seem to be misunderstood at times in which I’m ok with it. It’s not for everyone to understand you!
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. The end of 2022 my home was in a flood, my relationship of almost nine years ended, my boys wasn’t happy with everything going on and then I lost myself in the midst of all of that. I didn’t want to continue doing anything as far as film, modeling, business, acting, just everything! I just wanted to give up and also move away but I have had my moments with producing films where you want to give up. It’s definitely not for weak! I just have a little voice inside of me saying “don’t do it, keep going, this was just a test.” I just kept going and I’m glad I did because I wouldn’t be talking to you all today.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. Is the public version of you the real you?
I wouldn’t necessarily say it is because when I’m not in the public eye, I consider myself an introvert, loner and a homebody. Versus in the public eye I have to be more extroverted and talking to people more. I love my privacy and enjoy my mom life! I’m the total opposite of that in the public eye.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. What will you regret not doing?
I try not to regret things in life but if I had the chance to change something, I would’ve started a little earlier in life to accomplish my goals sooner. I took a different route because I wanted a family and marriage etc. but I re-routed to focus on my dreams and accomplishments!
