We recently had the chance to connect with Milo Mclaren and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Milo , thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I wake up, make tea, I meditate, have alone time and focus on self. I say affirmations and do my morning routine.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
KRAEV fashion was founded by me, Shayna Mclaren, now known as Milo McLaren. I am a 36 years old and a mother to a 2 beautiful sons who are nine and one. It was always my dream to pursue fashion, having the ability to make someone’s day through beauty and fashion. I am a self taught designer who strives to be the best at what I do. I have been sewing and designing now for ten years now. I had my first fashion show debute back in January 31st, 2015. I currently reside in Atlanta Ga but my pieces are world wide. Fashion is my passion and I am determined to have everyone KRAEV’D!
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose is the old me (Shayna). I know refer to myself as Milo. Although Shayna has gotten me to this point, that version of me is no longer needed. I have grown, unlearned, relearned and healed to become a better version of myself.
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Imposter syndrome has held me back more than ever, which brought about the fear of being myself. Growing up and being conditioned to be a people pleaser, and trauma making me anxiously attached has had a big impact on my life. No showing up authenticity me has done me a disservice. Healing that changed everything.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
That you are the Goddess or God of your reality and that your self concept is one of the most important things. Having a great self concept will result in a better reality.

I’m doing exactly what I was born to do. Being an example of going after your dreams, assisting people in feeling good and looking good.
