Pablo Filmz of Metro Atlanta on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Pablo Filmz shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Hi Pablo, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What’s more important to you—intelligence, energy, or integrity?
Energy for sure

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Pablofilmz, An Atlanta Based Photographer, Originally from the south side of Chicago. Photography started off as a hobby for me in the summer of 2016, and became my full time career November 2017. I started off doing baby showers and club bookings to put my name & brand out there more. Eventually that expanded to me doing photoshoots in studio, such as family portraits, professional headshots, milestone birthday shoots and more. I classify myself as a Visual Artist, and what makes my brand special is because i don’t limit all that i have to offer with my services. I can do Weddings, Lifestyle shoots, Brand launchings, Newborn photos and many more! Currently i am focusing on mastering graphic design and video editing to add to my many talents/services i can offer to new and returning clients.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who taught you the most about work?
I would have to honestly have to say i’ve learned from a few people, depending on what direction i wanted to take at whatever point in my career. Just to name a few i will have to say @Scrilldavis on IG, my good childhood friend bryce and myself based off my experiences.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes! after my first year of photography. It was really stressful, i was getting threats from clients, i did not know the business side of things and went into panic mode

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whose ideas do you rely on most that aren’t your own?
Pinterest, That’s My bestie

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What will you regret not doing?
Not pushing myself to learn how to film and edit videos earlier in my career.
