Good morning Pac’Liyah, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I love this question. I’m currently, in real time, being called to LIVE & SPEAK my truth.
I’m being called to HEAL OUT LOUD.
I was always afraid of sharing my struggles & certain parts of my journey with the world but the way life has been lately, I’ve been called to face those fears.
I had a free of being perceived & judged.
Yet I wanted to build a trusted community and fan base. But I wasn’t giving ALL of me, or the RAW parts of me.
And the tables have now turned. I’m conquering that fear everyday now by showing up, unapologetically, as ME.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
What’s up readers! I’m Pac’Liyah, like Tupac & Aaliyah had a baby, lol. Think of a romantic, sexy thug and that’s me,
I’m a music artist, podcaster, mother, visionary, creative, mentor, speaker, boss & most importantly, a REBEL. Haha.
I make music that’s motivational but still fly. Most of my songs are about overcoming a struggle and self love, like feeling myself, boss up – get money music!
My podcast is about highlighting creatives, entrepreneurs and artists, letting them tell their stories and using their voices to create encourage my viewers.
Everything I do is bigger than me, I’m building a community, creating spaces where people can feel motivated, supported AND entertained!
Through music, podcasting, vlogging, mentoring, and coaching, I use my story and my platform to teach, uplift, and empower others to chase their own dreams. My purpose is to entertain while also planting seeds that help people grow, heal and find their purpose!
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that has served its purpose is my inner WARRIOR.
She’s always ready to hustle, fight and defend!
Recently she’s taken a backseat, not fully released because we might need her lol.
But that energy is no longer at the forefront, it’s no longer my driving force.
I used to operate from a place of anger, frustration and resentment.
I carried around so much pain, it kept me in defense mode.
I am now in a space where I can receive, relax and allow ease and flow into my life.
I don’t have to keep fighting or being the “strong one”.
I am love. I am light. I am fragile. I am valuable. In other words, tread lightly round this mf!
What fear has held you back the most in your life?
Fear of judgement, perception and rejection had a mean chokehold on me.
It kept me from fully pursuing my dreams and promoting myself.
I allowed the fear to whisper lies of doubt and low self esteem into my mind.
I’m JUST now releasing and conquering that fear. I’m showing up now!

Haha. For sure. Especially at this point. I’ve always been ME online, I just didn’t share ALL parts of me.
I’ve recently came online with my truth and story. I told everyone about my divorce, my eviction and all of my struggles.
It wasn’t easy but if I want to practice what I preach, which is authenticity, it was very necessary. Especially just to free myself and face my fears.
I realized that sharing my story could help others feel less alone in theirs. The public version of me is the real me, and now people see both the wins and the battles
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Are you doing what you were born to do—or what you were told to do?
I’m doing what I WANT to do. I’m doing what I am called to do for sure. I told you, I’m a rebel. I always been a black sheep, the odd ball or the crazy one. Lol.
I rarely do what I’m told.
I have no desire to fit societal norms or participate in the matrix any more.
I do what I want, they do what they can!
