Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Vivian Best of Dallas, Georgia

Vivian Best shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Vivian, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
Public Speaking rather than in front of a crowded room or in front of a camera. I’ve always been told I have a way with words that resonate with people. I avoided this part of my inability to share with the world because I was unconformable and afraid I was going to mess up, be judged, and not show up for myself when I made a commitment to my community.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello, I’m Vivian an author and founder of Savvy Girl Hustle with over 15 years of creative leadership. I navigated creative leadership roles in diverse fields like music, beauty, and fashion, I’ve seen firsthand the unique challenges ambitious women face—the overwhelm, the comparison, and the struggle to find that perfect blend of passion and profit because I was that girl.

My journey has given me a direct, no-nonsense perspective on entrepreneurship, and I’m passionate about helping women turn their creative ideas into real profit.

Savvy Girl Hustle is where we meet women where they are and lift them into entrepreneurial leadership. We provide the tools, resources, and community to help you look at your business as a whole. We’re dedicated to helping you find your joyful, profitable niche and become a confident creator who launches an online business that truly lights you up.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The older version of me has served her purpose and must be released. There comes a season in our lives where we are constantly shifting and changing. I believe transformation is death. The reason I say transformation is death, because the old version of you must die to create new habits and to gain clarity.

What did suffering teach you that success never could?
Suffering is like you’re driving in a terrible storm, and you don’t see any way out. Success is like you get to the rainbow after a storm, but in order for me to get to that rainbow of success, I must drive through the storm I’m in. Suffering taught me that nobody is coming to save you. You want this. You must face your challenges head on to get to the other side of success.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Building a mentorship program for Savvy Girl Hustle, no matter how long it takes. This program is designed for aspiring and new entrepreneurs who are ready to stop making excuses and take confident action toward launching their online business. The program’s goal is to move Savvy Girls from idea paralysis to empowered action and a clear launch plan for actionable guidance. It leverages their core content pillars and provides focused, personal development and direct support.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
She was the poster girl for Women’s Empowerment. It’s not what she has done for women, it’s how she made women feel.
