Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Josue Esteves of Atlanta/metro Atlanta area.

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Josue Esteves. Check out our conversation below.

Josue, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What is a normal day like for you right now?
A typical day in my routine starts very early, around 4:20 a.m. After breakfast, I head to my main job as an industrial electrician, where I perform my daily tasks. During breaks, I take advantage of my secondary role as an insurance advisor, following up with clients and answering inquiries. At the end of the day, back home, I dedicate more time and focus to this role, answering messages and emails and directly addressing my clients’ needs.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Of course. I work primarily as an industrial electrician, a field in which I have acquired solid technical experience and a discipline focused on efficiency and safety. At the same time, I develop a secondary role as a health insurance advisor, which allows me to combine my technical knowledge with a human touch, focused on providing trust and protection to people.

I consider myself a person with high aspirations, constantly growing personally and professionally, always seeking new learning opportunities. I work with clear and defined goals, which drives me to improve myself every day and add value to every project I take on.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I was supposed to be, I was a young Venezuelan with a solid academic and professional background built in my home country. I completed all my studies in Venezuela, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Administration and later a Master’s degree in Production Management.

My career took place at a Venezuelan national airline, where I served as an internal auditor. There, I received much of my training in that area, which allowed me to strengthen my discipline, analytical skills, and commitment to excellence.

However, the political, economic, and social changes Venezuela is undergoing led me to make the difficult decision to leave my country in search of a better future. The United States has provided me with new opportunities for growth and advancement, and I continue to work with determination to achieve the clear goals I have set for myself.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
The truth is, I’ve never even considered giving up. I’ve gone through very difficult times, but I believe that these experiences have strengthened my character and determination. Every obstacle has represented an opportunity to grow, learn, and reaffirm my desire to excel.

I’ve been able to rise from situations of suffering and transform them into a driving force to continue moving toward my goals. Rather than holding me back, these moments have motivated me to move forward with greater conviction, always keeping in mind what I want to achieve and the purpose that guides my path.

I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I admire my parents the most. They have given me the best example of strength, perseverance, and dedication. I admire them because, despite the difficulties, they always kept going, focusing on raising us in the best way possible so that we would become good people, with solid values and clear aspirations.

Their character was reflected in the hard work they put in every day, with the goal of providing us with a stable home and ensuring that we never lacked what we needed to move forward in life. I deeply admire their capacity for sacrifice, their commitment to their family, and the vision of growth they instilled in us, which I continue to apply in my own journey.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. Could you give everything your best, even if no one ever praised you for it?
I always give my best in every situation, in every job, and in every occupation I pursue. I don’t expect praise from others, because my true motivation doesn’t come from external recognition, but from the personal satisfaction of having done things the best I could.

For me, commitment, discipline, and excellence must be present regardless of whether anyone observes or applauds. My focus is always on moving forward, growing, and improving myself, knowing that every well-executed effort brings me closer to the goals I’ve set for myself.
