Dezire , it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Something outside of work that is bringing me joy lately, is doing my clothing brand FULL TIME. I have always dreamed to have the opportunity to work on my brand full time , giving it my all. When other things don’t work out as planned, I can always fall back on my clothes to bring that joy that will make everything just RIGHT!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Dezire Brown, from Jersey City, NJ, and I am the CEO of the clothing brand “Always On Go”, which started in 2019. Always On Go was created to help motivate the culture to whom can relate. AOG is a lifestyle that turned into a positive, motivating, thriving, ambitious brand. Pushing motivation, determination, compassion, consistency, persistence and lifestyle to all communities. Always On Go is aimed to inspire! Inspiring is one of the highest forms of human nature. One of the distinguishing qualities that separates me from other brands is that I didn’t give up. We “Always On Go”. Even when obstacles and odds were against me, I stayed consistent and persistent through it all. I’m pushing my brand to reach various cultures and lifestyles, and encouraging an entire nation. Welcoming and inspiring individuals from all walks of life is the goal here, I’m the type to go get it! Slogan I live by daily.

Who taught me the most about work is , Virgil Abloh, ASAP ROCKY, Tyler the creator , Kanye, JayZ , Pharrell, ASAP FERG, Rihanna etc
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Honestly, giving up wasn’t my end goal. I once felt like giving up wasn’t an option but I had to realize why I started and what’s the reason I’ll keep on going. The only distinguishing quality that separates me is that I didn’t gave up nor quit.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
ASAP ROCKY! I admire him because he’s able to communicate through his fashion and give expressive items to tell a story. Things that mean something to him and he’s able to share that and inspire future clothing brand owner or entrepreneurs like myself. He spreads love, positivity and freedom of fashion. High end fashion. AGWE
